It was an evil vindictive thing you did Patric, but it was a good thing to do, so you win!
Not many friends turn each other in. we count on enemies of criminals for that. So you get to fulfill your social obligation, and have fun in the process. Just part of the natural order of things.
Next question, would telling your Ex be mean, or just plain stupid? Guess it depends on how long she is going to be married to an inmate.

If you have children with her..it makes you a responsible dad.
It also doesn't make you a bad ex husband. if this guy is into grand theft and is a fleeing felon..you might have saved your ex-wife's life, unwittingly...at the very least you might have saved her a lot of heartache..unless she's stupid enough to still want this character.
The flip side is that if the police were able to prove that you knew and DIDN'T report it..they might have charged you with obstruction or aiding and abetting..etc...will be surprised if your ex-wife never receives charges for harboring a fugitive.

Well you probably did it because you had reasons of your own, but I don't think that matters. Anyone who commits a crime like that should be turned into the police. If someone stole my car, I'd hope that someone out there would turn the thief in, so regardless of any personal motives behind it, it was still the right thing to do.

LOL I turned my ex in too because he had warrants and yes he knew about them too. I laughed and it felt good, and it was good because it made him take responsibility when he refused to...and it was one less criminal on the streets, but...oh never mind this time there is no but... He Deserved it and everything else that came with it! LOL It was his own damn fault!

It depends on your motives, which probably had nothing to do with being a good citizen. On the other hand, it doesn't make you a bad person, because after all he's the one who apparently broke the law.

A selfish, but concerned citizen. You could have easily told your ex wife's husband about the warrants, and given him the opportunity to turn himself in. I know you didn't do this in order to keep our streets safer from this guy, you did it to get back at your ex-wife. Pretty childish, don't you think?
Happy Thanksgiving!
