My company is choosing to close the company the day after Thanksgiving. They are telling the employees that we either have to use a vacation day, come in on a Saturday for 8 hours or not to get paid. Is that legal? Some employees either do not have any vacation time or have a weekend job. Whatever the reason, I believe that is wrong. Not my choice not to work on the Friday.

Does anyone know reliable links to Smallville spoilers, or at least know what the next ep will be like? I want to know what consequences Clark will face.

I will be badly ticked off if it means him being without Lana. Why even have Clark on earth if Jor-El is so dang against Clark having human emotions! (The last sentence was sarcasm!)

My wife tells me sex is not important in a relationship but i think it is, actually making love is to me not just sex. I like the pleasure of touching her, feeling her entire body, caressing her every inch of her body, massaging her and plenty of foreplay and then making love four and hour or 2 or 3! Kissing and hugging, and making great hot love! If I it were up to me, I'd do it with her everyday, sometime twice a day. She tells me that once or twice a month might even be too much for her and that in this world, there wouldn't even be a woman who would even want that much affection, that it does not exits! I believe otherwise. She says that I'm a dreamer! Is this true or are there any women like me out there who can save my case??? That am not the sexually crazy one out here! Although, if she was more affectionate and caring I probably wouldn't want it so much! At least 4 times a week of great love would be great!

Does anyone really believe that there is any politican in Washington that cares about the average person. If so whom would it be and why. Anymore I think myself everyone of the is out for themselves. I cannot remember the house nor the senate nor the president doing anything for the common man since 1963. Am I wrong to feel that way???

With the recent tremendous marketing of Poodle crosses, we thought a cross that had unique qualities not already found in the Poodle made more sense.

After long hours in the lab tinkering with the DNA, we have created a "doodle" which does not lessen the original.

(Note: A couple of "My Little Pony" toys accidentally fell in the gene splicer, hence the neon-pink hair.)

In addition to the traits of the Poodle, the Ponydoodle can be ridden by small children, mow your lawn, and can be maintained on either a meat-based diet or on hay and grain -- thereby cutting the cost of feed.

So if God originally told Adam and Eve that plants were for food and not animals, and didn't tell people to eat animals until after the flood when he was fed up with disappointment in humans, isn't being a vegetarian closer to what God's originally plan was, Biblically?

Wouldn't being a vegetarian mean being more pure for God?

Do you think following God's first plan or second plan after he was angry make Him happier?

Providing an air conditioner is powerful enough to cool a room well and is rated at, say 3 litres an hour of water extraction, how would the relative humidity of the room be affected? If the relative humidity, was %80 before the AC was turned on, what, roughly, would the relative humidity be a few hours after use? I know many factors are involved, not least being the make and model of the AC but I am looking for a very vague idea. Could a reduction of %40 humidity be achieved, or is %5 more likely?
