I've been working out a lot (1 hour of spinning, 1 hour on the treadmill, and weights (not really heavy). I've also changed my diet so i've been eating less carbs and more proteins.
However, today I woke up feeling sick, I threw up, had cold sweatings and a headache.... could this be related to my workout?

Yup you can. It's called over training and is very common. The feeling ill is probably from the combination of modified diet and too much too soon. Your body is telling you to back off and your body will always win. Try cutting back to 45 minutes a day max. Over training can actually cause muscle tissue to decrease and eventually your body will force you to stop...good luck

very much so, those are some pretty common symptoms of over training. It is related to your work out and eating.

You should reduce your training volume, or take an extended break
ease up on the dietary restrictions but keep the protien up

If you stop training and increase calories and the symptoms still persist you should go see a doctor

check out page 19 it is very helpful.

Yes, you can work out too much. Studies found that you have to have a rest period weekly. For example, you work out 5 days a week and take the weekend off. Or, you work out Mon. through Wed. skip Fri. and do something light on Sun.

The important thing is to ask yourself why you are working out so much. Is it for your better health or something else because it is not making you feel good.
