It depends on how I feel about him. Did I come about because he broke his vows as a priest or did he become a priest after my mother died? The former would make me think of him as a hypocrite unless he had asked for forgiveness, acknowledged me and my mother, and done all he could to set things right. Then yes, I would because I would see the strength and courage he had to make amends. If he became a priest after the death of my mother, again, yes. I would honor his decision, he would still be my Dad, and I would respect him all the more.
Children often want to do what their parents do, good or bad. So most likely my answer would have to be yes and yes.

i think of they are the two important. The Bible is a huge way you study God and what He calls us to do. His training for us, examples to stay by applying, and a fashion He speaks to us. you may pray and study the Bible and something you study in basic terms hits you. that's how God consult from you contained in the direction of the Bible. once you're youthful you won't know precisely what you're reading, plus what form of translation would make it worse. Even reports in existence would turn scripture you study some years decrease back into something with plenty extra meaning to you. in the event that they are puzzled with reference to the Bible, i'd say do no longer supply up. attempt, and once you're puzzled ask somebody you have faith for help, ideally somebody who's easily-known with extra with reference to the Bible than you. which would be a huge help. As for church is going it is important too. once you're around different believers you may help one yet another very much. Like iron sharpens iron, believers help one yet another out. they might have long previous via an ordeal you're dealing with, or have an answer to a question. Even observing the existence they stay can effect you. you will see God's presents in others and know, and help mature the presents He has given you.

I had a friend whose father was a minister. She knew the words but she misunderstood quite a bit of the meaning. I am not sure she was reading for herself. I think she was just getting information by half listening here and there. She started spending time with my grandmother and I think she actually learned more from her than at home.

Some priests are married. I am married and have four children and six grand-children. Only the Latin Rite Catholics have the discipline of celibate priests. That is only one Rite out of twenty-three.

Not really- yes you have to respect elders.
it all depends on you to choose your own aim/goals in life. son of doctor is a engineer, son of lawyer is a cop, son of tailor is a barber.. so it answers your question.

Probably, but my father was a painter because he wanted to be independent from his father. I like the individuality myself too!
