Proverbs 6:26 is a fairly well-known verse: it talks about how adulteresses are dangerous...."a harlot can be had for a loaf of bread but an adulteress" leads to death, etc. However, in alternate translations, the verse reads "a harlot reduces a man to a loaf of bread."
So there is a completely different meaning, depending on which translation you are reading. My Catholic Bible has the "had for a loaf of bread" line; my King James says "reduce to a loaf of bread."
So which one is correct? It is one of those verses with completely different messages depending on the translation.

Need Public Help: Our local police dept. is encountering an ambush tactic. Tiny cameras hidden in license plates hooked up to monitors inside the car to see approaching officers walking up to the car. Brainstorm please: How to disengage the camera or the image BEFORE officer gets out his car? I'm thinking a blinding halogen light fixed on the lens or frequency jam. Any other feasible and cheap ideas?
Thank you for your help!

I asked this question yesterday, "Is it right to make homosexuals feel bad about themselves to make them follow your beliefs?" I gave information from this question http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ApakCUrPSavQXqcEvGevbKnsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20071115090115AA3LliX&show=7#profile-info-vNpsT0cgaa. I pointed out specifically the Pastor's answer. Which MANY of you chewed me out, acting like I was the Pastor. Again I am NOT the Pastor, I quoted him, and said that.

My question was removed, I reported the Pastor's hater answer, and it's still there.

I didn't attack him in anyway (I'm still not either) or the other person's question. I wanted opinions on how his answer made people feel. So how did I offend any of you?

Hello everyone. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. My boyfriend of almost 2 years - he's a very great guy. He's sweet and caring - but sometimes I really worry because I catch myself dealing with a boy. He has been in and out of jobs since 06 and that always made me feel iffy because I am one to work... I had to grow up fast because I had a son at a young age. I have so many goals and dreams that really do look realistic and some I am fulfilling. I guess I can say I have reached a point in my life where I have discovered myself and catch myself not caring about the things that I used to care about so much. I feel like my day lags because he doesn't work. He lives in my home. He helps with my son. I know he loves me, but to be quite frank, he's lazy and isn't proactive with the things you'd expect from a 23 year old. He just seems out of focus and it's really wearing me out, but I am such a patient and loving gal and have faith and belief. But I'm slowly running low
