Can I let my dough rise, punch down, knead, shape them and place in refrigerator overnight, then take them out and let them rise next morning? Will the cold keep them from rising but not kill the yeast?

I have read some ridiculous posts about the pope today, and I wish to clarify what Catholics think about the pope.

If you could somehow go back in a time machine and meet the apostle Peter, how would you react? Would you listen to him? Would you respect the fact that he was given his apostleship by Christ himself? Can you deny that you would be at least a little excited to met this Simon Bar Jonah who Jesus renamed Peter?
Well, that's how we feel about the pope. We believe he is Peter's successor (here is a list: http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/12272b.htm ).
Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior, the Son of the Living God. The pope is a man. But, the pope occupies an office we feel was established by Christ himself (Matt: 16: 17-19) and we respect that. That's all there is to it. Here is more info about the pope: http://www.catholic.com/library/church_papacy.asp

Oh: We do not worship Mary, or the Saints: Statues are not idols, and ALL Catholic teachings ARE BIBLICAL !!

We are both 43 - She had cancer and finished treatment, but it sent her into menopause. She can't get hormone replacement therapy, and basically told me "sorry, too bad, we are at a different phase of our life and get used to it." We have two young children and divorce is really not an option.

I am still looking for names for my baby girl due in Jan. It's giving me a headache, and I can't seem to find something permanent.
I recently came up with Nya Milan.
I am also considering Serenity as a middle name.
I don't want something ghetto, but I also don't want too plain of a name. Was also considering a biblical name. Please help.
Other names that I am considering: Nyla, Naarai (pronounced Nuh-rye), Kamora.
Other suggestions welcome. Thanks

Does any one else live like this and how do they cope? I dont work and have a 6 month old baby, I do everything in the house, cook, clean, look after the baby, iron, wash I mean EVERYTHING. My husband works 7 till 7 in a high powered job pays all the bills and I get whatever I want. The only thing is I am so unhappy. I am exhausted and when my husband comes home the baby is ready for bed so all he does is put him into his cot. I am so tired and think I might be despressed, my husband doesnt understand at all and I cant talk to him. He doesnt notice anything I do, and always seem to be complaining about something

Won't she tell you anything you want to hear and then do what she wants to do?

memory of Joe Nuxhall is?

Some of you may not know Joe, but I am guessing there are plenty who do. Especially displaced Cincy fans around the country.

I think mine is the famous " This is the Ole' Lefthander, rounding third and heading toward home." Nothing could be more true on this sad November day.

Also, if you haven't voted for Joe for the HOF, make sure you do.

Anyone else get the feeling there is some sort of concerted charade going on?
If Musharaff wanted to treat Bhutto this way, why did he allow her back in the country? Why does he not put her on a plane and send her away? Is the United States playing all sides or shedding crocodile tears when musharraf is being a dictator and repressing democracy? After all, isnt Musharraf our puppet? Are the Bush administrations call for democracy sincere? Do they really want the will of the great majority of Pakistanis to win the day?

Last night they sure seemed like a winner to me. Hillary
Clinton still had the edge on Barack and Edwards.
They tried Conservative like tactics to thwart her
momentum. And it failed. Just like I knew it would.
Somehow people cannot understand that she will
definitely change this country for the better, just like
her husband. And whatever is exposed now, she will
try to fix. So are you confident in the future president
of the US ? The Clinton's rule. It is unfortunate that we
had this current administration mess up everything, and
caused us to regress rather than progress. Now the
Democrats will have a chance to get the job done,
period. So Hillary for president, or no ? Best answer wins.

Hi,
I was trying to install a PCI card (firewire) and it didn't work properly on my old dimension 4500 desktop. The device manager was showing the yellow exclamation mark on the firewire card (as if it didn't find the drivers etc).
However, when I switched the PCI ports, everything went fine. Then I tried other cards, and they too behaved similarly (didn't work on that particular port).
Apart from replacing the motherboard, what other solutions are there to fix this problem?

Thanks.
