My heart is like ice so i just look for the person carrying an ice pick and that person automatically looks suspicious to me.
Seriously, you can never tell if someone is going to break your heart or not. You hope that it will not happen, that you will always be in love but you are only one half of a whole and if she/he does not want to be the other half then there is nothing you can do to prevent that, at least without being someone you are not.
Perhaps it is just timing or perhaps it was never meant to be but couples break up and fall apart for a myriad of reasons and none of them leave you feeling too good about yourself or the other person in the relationship.
All I can tell you is that hearts even those as cold as mine can break, but they can also heal.
That being said, step away from the ice pick.... : )

Well, since I've never had a boyfriend, LOL, I'm gonna have to go with the girls.
Uhm, I dunno. I guess if you happen to find out anything about her 'track record' - how many dates, boyfriends and relationships she's had...how long they last...and why they ended, you might consider that.
Most girls, while they might not necessarily give you their entire love-life history, will eventually say, mention or let-slip *something* about prior relationships.
For me, my ex had been engaged...and her fiance broke it off for some reason. She had also had several serious boyfriends (as well as two lesbian lovers - she was bi) but none of any of those lasted very long.
This should have sent up warning flags, but I was too blinded my love to care much.
That's the only advice I can offer.
I mean, there has to be *some* reason why she's blazed through boyfriends like an out-of-control forest fire.
Consider that, for there is no reason to assume why you won't be her next 'victim'.

Everyone has the ability to be a heartbreaker, and they usually end up breaking mine in a trillion little pieces.

well only if i sat down with him or her and we talk about stuffs, life and world and than i can figure out whether she or he is a heartbreaker. I've learn that because my X girlfriend use to be nice but later she turn ugly and use me for her goods so she dumped me and now i know how people can change or how they will break your heart.

heart breaker random human beings question me out and that i'm like 'hell naw i gotta boyfriend' and one dude walked off crying once lol besides the question jogged my memory of the pat benetar music heartbreaker. I in basic terms concept i'd share that with all and assorted :)

Some people wear it on their sleeve like a badge, others are more conniving. Just have to spend some time and watch for the "red flags."

I can't always tell with ease...
But s/he better be a heart breaker...
If love doesn't cause your heart to explode into a million pieces...
Only to fall back together again in a moment of enlightenment...
Then it really wasn't worth it...
