As time passes it seemd more and moore like Ron Paul is going to get a strong turn out. Judging by the demograph he is having success in it seems safe to say he could pull votes from Hillary Clinton.

I have always wondered if you can walk into the forest and run up on a wild cow. If not today, could you ever do this in the past? They had to come from somewhere, right? I've also wondered this about fruits and vegetables. Like, can you go into the woods and find wild squash, or wild cabbage, or a wild orange tree?

"This year alone, leaders in Congress are proposing to spend $22 billion more than my budget provides," the president said. "Some of them claim this is not really much of a difference and the scary part is that they seem to mean it." - BUSH

More than any other spending bill, the $606 billion education and health measure defines the differences between Bush and majority Democrats.

Since winning re-election, Bush has sought to cut the labor, health and education measure below the prior year level. But lawmakers have rejected the cuts. The budget that Bush presented in February sought almost $4 billion in cuts to this year's bill.

Democrats responded by adding $10 billion to Bush's request for the 2008 bill. Democrats say spending increases for domestic programs are small compared with Bush's pending war request totaling almost $200 billion.

I wish I had adequate healthcare, I'm 23... but unfortunately all the money I need is going towards a war that is a lie.

How can Exxon keep making record profits? There is obviously no need for them to raise prices.

Will these prices affect your holiday travels this year?

I was wondering if anyone knew how long it takes alcohol to leave your system for a urine test? I went to a wedding on Saturday night and drank from 7:00pm until around 2:00am. I was told I had to take a drug/alcohol urine test on Monday for a job that I was offered. I took the test on Monday around 11:30pm. Would there still be alcohol in my system after 33 hours have past? It would help if people that actually went through this answered.

Im kind of recently married (just nearing 2 years). I have been noticing that my husband is not really interested in sex and its getting problematic esp coz now we want to try to have kids. My husbands says he can have sex only in the morning as soon as he gets up because that time by default he is little aroused and its easy to get more of him. In the evenings wen i try to fondlke him there is no much changes in him. But i know that he sincerely loves me. Can he be having some problem?? are all boys almost sexually aroused when they wake up in the morning?? i dont see this behaviour when he takes a light sleep in the afternoon. there are no other problems in our life and he seems to be happy man. just that he has less interest in sex. please advice. at times when we have sex, i find that he cant ejaculate also. he just does it for my satisfaction, though i dont force him. but this doesnot happen always.

There have been dozens of questions in Y!A the past few days about John Coleman's comments regarding global warming. Basically he claims the whole thing is a massive scam. Coleman is the founder of The Weather Channel, so people seem to think he's a credible source of information (even though weather is entirely different from climate).

Here is The Weather Channel's official position:

"More than a century's worth of detailed climate observations show a sharp increase in both carbon dioxide and temperature. These observations, together with computer model simulations and historical climate reconstructions from ice cores, ocean sediments and tree rings all provide strong evidence that the majority of the warming over the past century is a result of human activities. This is also the conclusion drawn, nearly unanimously, by climate scientists. Any meaningful debate on the topic amongst climate experts is over."

Hey all.

I had a miscarriage in May, and had the Mirena IUD put in June. I had it take out on October 9th, because it was making me gain mad weight.
My doctor told me to use protection right when it was taken out because I could get pregnant. So, lol, I didn't use any protection, because we are TTC.

The beginning of my last period was on October 6th 2007. I was due November 6th 2007, and have not gotten my period yet.

I am now exactly one week late. And for the past 2 weeks, I have had bad night sickness, my nipples are HUGE, and I am leaking discharge so much it feels like I wet myself. Also I have really bad heartburn and headaches.

But I have bad cramps. It is known in my family for pregnancy tests to show up negative until the 3rd month. So all of my tests say negative!

What do you think?

I mean, really, folks, let me hep ya out here:

1979 - 1982
Unemployment: 8%
Interest Rates: 13%
Mortgages: 18% - 20%
Economy: Stagnant
Political: Malaise (diagnosis of Jimmy Carter)

I've come to assume the following about the folks making most of the noise regarding how really, really terrible things are today; they have no experience with:

1 - terrible times,
2 - history,
3 - comparative analysis, and (yes, that's an AND, not an OR)
4 - independent study.

I find myself asking the following:

1 - If the educational establishment values this thing they call "critical thinking" so much, how come young people can't do it?,
2 - Where have folks' perspective gone (maybe they didn't have it to start with?)?, and
3 - Whatever are these characters going to do and say when hard times actually arrive again? (Scary thought, that one, eh?).

Please skip the George Bush/Iraq War thing for the following reasons:

1 - Presidents come and go, and
2 - We're ALWAYS at war.
