I know there are buses that go from Washington DC to Port Authority, and its not much of a walk from there to Grand Central, but I was wondering if anybody knew of a busline that goes from DC straight to Grand Central?

Grand Central Station is a train terminal. The Port Authority is where a bus would go. Greyhound goes to the Port Authority Bus Terminal ($37.00 from Washington DC).

EDIT: Once you get to the Port Authority you can catch the S train (the 42nd St Express) to Grand Central. If that's closed (only late at night) take the 7 train.
