Why do white Americans - some not all - criticize African-American for speaking AAVV, speaking Ebonics, speaking ghetto, speaking slang and belittle them?

I find it extremely offensive and unbearably selfish because speaking AAVV is the way I detach my self from white American and embrace my heritage. For instance, if any Asian-American, a Asian born in American, wanted to do the same, all he or she would have to do is start speaking Asian, but American-Americans do not have that same privilege because White America robbed us of are heritage, so why would you complain when we subconsciously and consciously crated a new one, a new culture that differs from yours?

So my question again is, why do white Americans - some not all -criticize African-American for speaking AAVV, speaking Ebonics, speaking ghetto, speaking slang and belittle them?

people say that becoming anorexic can mess up your body

cause look at the models

Hi! I am trying to see if there a way to scan a sheet of text and open the scanned image in Microsoft WORD, so that the resulting scan is now movable and usable text (letters, punctuation etc...).
I have an HP PSC 1210 all-in -one scanner now. I used to be able to do this using a feature called "scan to OCR" but that feature doesn't seem available on my HP scanner.
Does anyone know of any software that can do this and will either (1) work with my scanner model or (2) be able to interpret the resulting scanned files and recognize the letters and punctuation marks so that they can be edited in as regular text file?
Any suggestions would be a great help as I have TONS of documents I need to scan and work with (first drafts of stories etc). Thanks loads in advance!

clearly, as long as there is need for a written bible, as long as people still feel the need to teach others about g-d, the "new covenant" isn't here!

Is it only los padres? Why padres and not los madres? Or rather why don't they have a neutral name like word 'parents' is in english language?

Is there anything behind this decision? Or does it work in the same way as the name 'man'.. meaning that 'man' means both human and a man with male gender? Coming from the times when men had more political power than women.. Are these the resons behind naming parents 'los padres' and NOT with any other name?

I threw noodle soup yesterday in the toilet. Believe me, I now know just how stupid that was. It got clogged right away when my roommate went to use the bathroom. Anyway, we got some of the stuff out, but not enough. The water trickles down, 5 bottles of Drano later, so there is no sitting water in the toilet, but it still does not work. Any suggestions as to what I can do? I live in an apartment, so I don't have a garden hose or anything like that.

My boss is great. I love her (work wise). I need to get her a present for xmas but am lost. She is so health concious but is very rich so has all the latest gadgets & fads etc. She drinks & eats only healthily. I am lost. She does like booze but that is boring. Any ideas? Maybe £50-£100 spending.

Clearly there are no weak games OR teams anymore!!! OSU lost yesterday, but LSU,USC, Florida, Oklahoma and early Texas lost to a team that (on paper) should not have beaten them. I think that at this point, schedule strengh can no longer be used for or against anyone!!! Its a new day. With that said, all the big names have not been able to win their games vs. "lesser opponents", so Kansas should be no. 1!!! They have won games they were supposed to win (the way they were supposed to win them) and a couple when everyone picked against them. If its all about winning your games, reward them with the top spot. What do you guys think? The way I see it, the big names have lost to "lesser opponents", so why not give the nod to a "lesser opponent" that had acheived what the big names have not.....win their games. Whether they belong there is irrelevant. They have won their games and no other team can say that. The experts have proven they don't know @#$!!!!

Lately he has chewed our phone line twice and has dragged weird things like a couch cusion from a neighbors yard. (I'm not sure why anyone would have a couch in their yard?)
