Clearly there are no weak games OR teams anymore!!! OSU lost yesterday, but LSU,USC, Florida, Oklahoma and early Texas lost to a team that (on paper) should not have beaten them. I think that at this point, schedule strengh can no longer be used for or against anyone!!! Its a new day. With that said, all the big names have not been able to win their games vs. "lesser opponents", so Kansas should be no. 1!!! They have won games they were supposed to win (the way they were supposed to win them) and a couple when everyone picked against them. If its all about winning your games, reward them with the top spot. What do you guys think? The way I see it, the big names have lost to "lesser opponents", so why not give the nod to a "lesser opponent" that had acheived what the big names have not.....win their games. Whether they belong there is irrelevant. They have won their games and no other team can say that. The experts have proven they don't know @#$!!!!

Iron Mongo...you have proved that no matter how sincere the topic or question, there is always some churlish individual with something dim-witted to say.

Kansas won't be the first team to feel cheated out of a chance at the NC. The resentment goes away after a few years, unless you use the team for self-validation rather than entertainment.

Well. Yes. According to the reasoning used by OSU fans (til yesterday, that is)....the top Undefeated deserves the #1 spot regardless of strength of schedule. It is OBVIOUS that undefeated Kansas and Hawaii are far better teams than any of the one loss teams....like LSU, Oregon....or OSU!!!!
So everyone get your popcorn ready....cause in January, in New Orleans, we get to see The Jayhawks vs the Warriors!!!! Woo-Hoo.....isn't everybody excited?
*Ahhhhh...a thumbs down. Did bad Mongo step on some poor little Suckeye fan's toes........my bad........
*Well....pardon Mongo...but if you actually knew anything about sports...you wouldn't have to ask this question.....so I had to assume that either you were in jest...or seriously deluded. Apparantly we will go with B.........(churlish.....i like that....at least i have been insulted by someone with a vocabulary, a first on this forum

regrettably there are nonetheless people who refuse to look previous their slender minded evaluations and examine the information and settle for the certainty. by employing records, KU is the UNDISPUTED average superb group interior the NCAA. by employing votes, they are #2 interior the country. sounds like in the event that they get by employing Mizzou and win the vast 12 we can see them play a non-convention opponent worth of attempting their rank. If and while the "combating Mangino's" win the NC, all of us right here, fairly the likes of endive can all devour hen poo. in the event that they get there and get blown out, we as vast 12 followers will could concede that even with the certainty we very own the top 10 as a convention, we are weaker than the SEC. regardless of if the NC activity is composed of no vast 12 group, WVU can not and could no longer defeat LSU. era.

Sorry, but it's not that they're are supposed to win, but are going to have to come and play to win and not think "we'll win, we're #1 or 2 or 3 etc..." Ohio State thought this way yesterday but Illinois came to play. You must always come and play 100% no matter what...

I think if they continue winning, they will have the chance to prove themselves in the national championship game against LSU or Oregon. I would like to see them play LSU...I'm interested to see if they are for real or not.

Today's poll and all those preceding it are just snapshots of a work in progress. Let's see how all the teams finish up their regular seasons and conference championships.

Well if there aren't any weak games or teams anymore, then someone didnt tell Kansas, because they found all of the ones that supposedly didn't exist.
