Terms that are bandied about easily in the vernacular will not help us here. I'm thinking especially of the recent series of questions of a particular Yahoo questioner.

A description of an ideal is not compulsory. My thought is very simple. It may mean that there are ideals some are aware of and others are not.

.....cant Kansas be #1 with an even better undefeated record than Ohio State? They have much better stats too. They are the only team in the country that is top five on both offense and defense. To be ranked in defense in the Big-12 is saying something because all of the best offenses in the country are in that conference. Id Kansas the best team? Probably not, but if Ohio State got to be #1, Kansas definitely deserves it. Your thoughts?

Is the prices of housing going down or staying the same as last year? My husband and I are planning a move out there and we would like to know the best section to live in. We presently live in Pennsylvania, but we love Las Vegas. Also, another option we are thinking about.....any condos out there that are available for leasing? We would at least like to come out there for 5 months (during our winter).

I just got back from Walmart. As I made my way through the parking lot I counted 17 people who walked right in front of my car without looking. I didn't count the people who did look... but walked in front of my car anyways.

Security, Donald Kerr told a congressional committee that Americans will have to get used to the idea that their right to privacy simply isn't going to be supported by 'their' government anymore. My husband is active duty ARMY and he claims Texas as his state of residence even though we live in Colorado now. We moved here 8 months ago and own a house here. Now I have a fulltime job (not a DOD job) and have state taxes taken out of my check. Can I register to vote here in Colorado even though my husband claims Texas?

i had just backed out of my driveway. It went in reverse fine, and went into first fine, but when i went to shift the stick freely went to second with out the clutch depressed. Then i pressed the clutch and it worked fine. Then i tried moving the shifter around and found out it only goes forward and backward. The car doesn't make and strange noises, no weird smells, nor hesitations. Last thing i fixed was a hose for the PCV valve. Which fix a hesitation problem i was having. So i was just wondering if it is just the shifter or the tranny that is the problem.

Hello everyone,
i'm sorry if this question is silly and if i'm wasting your time, it's just that i dn't have anybody else to help me, i was hoping u would, i really need advise. First of all i'm deeply confused.. there's this other girl, i'm a girl myself & this girl is in my class she's a yr older, i think she's cool, has a weird eccentric side like me! and i love that...how can i be her friend/ get to know her better, recently i've started talking 2 her, but about music+movies, but i don't want her 2 find me boring...what should i do, and does she like me...what does it mean if in class she puts her fingernail between her teeth while looking? how can i express my personality differently, i try 2 be myself, but my nerves and shyness can sometimes interfere! and when i talk i keep thinking that i'm boring, but there's so much more i have to give...:)

My first was at 39 weeks, my second at near 42. Baby will come when SHE is ready but I'm hoping it won't be much longer :) They stopped 3-5 minute contractions at 35 + 2 and I've been havgin pretty steady although spaced out contractions again since last night along with other "prelabor" and early labor signs.
