Sometimes it's not the blabes making the noise.
Check the splined area where they are attached and spray some WD 40 into the bearings,also ckeck for play in them.
You could put some grease on the mechanism joints too.

you need to make shaw your windscreen is clean and clean your wipers ( the rubbers) use a degrease, it could be that your wiper blade rubbers are to hard,
you will be very surprised how black your cloth will be when you clean your wipers down
make sure you buy quality wipers like Bosch, tric or champion
cheep wiper arnt any good for long term use?

if its the wiper arm, then try usings a dab of a lubricant oil,such as wd40 or similar, good for a host of problems with squeaking or rust problems. if its the blade, then i suggest you chane the blade: ie the rubber bit on the bottom good luck

Any or all of these should work:
Vinger or any acidic juice (lemon etc)
Wipe the blades with newspaper (The ink left behind acts as lubricant)
Wash the screen with car shampoo not glass cleaner

Try cleaning the windscreen with vinegar, or alternatively us a water dispelling windscreen product.

Take care with the vinegar thing, I tried it and the problem got much worse by restricting my vision, probably as the vinegar was on a fish supper.

UHH! hate that!
Try cleaning them with some rubbing alcohol. That should help ya. Or get some new ones. Also clean your windshield before you put them on after cleaning them too. Good luck, hope that helps ya.
