in jeremiah 31:33-34, g-d describes the "new covenant" as: "After those days, saith the L-RD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their G-d, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the L-RD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the L-RD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more"
clearly, as long as there is need for a written bible, as long as people still feel the need to teach others about g-d, the "new covenant" isn't here!
why do they claim it is?

christians seem to include themselves in every good promise given to israel, but exclude themselves all the rest of the time... quite interesting.
didn't he says that none of the law and prophets would pass away until ALL of it was fulfilled?
didn't he always answer "what must i do to have eternal life", with "keep the commandments"?
didn't he say that he and the father are one... that he does nothing outside the father?
didn't he say that he came for the "lost sheep of israel"?
if the gentiles wish to follow christ, that would seem to mean to follow the torah... if one takes the teaching of christ to be valid...

they have been insisting that for on the brink of two,000 years pointing out each and everything from the fall of Jerusalem to Nazi Germany and the creation and fall of the Soviet Union as particular signs and indicators. possibly that is time to enable that flow? there have been endless particular adult adult males or perdition, too. some were confident Napoleon changed into the Antichrist. Others said Ronald Reagan! Even Henry Kissinger has been talked about as a beast. Russian emperors, English Kings, Popes, you call it. the challenge is the making use of of Jewish prophecies to a diverse faith that has diverse beliefs and cosmology and a diverse time. The e book of Daniel isn't even component to the Naviim, or prophets in a Hebrew Bible, or Tenach, that is component to the Ketuvim, or writings, which includes the Psalms and Ecclesiastes. that is often mistranslated to sound like a particular portender of Jesus as messiah and misused through Protestants to advance that theory. what's even extra relaxing is the used of Israel transforming into a state as somekind of reference, historic or prophetic, that the end is close to. For a million,800 years the Chruch, protestant and catholic made it dogma the Jews must be cursed to roam with no native land for eternity as a punishment for the cricifixion of the Christian savior. contained in the mid 19th century a sparkling philosophy talked about as dispansationalism known contained in the Protestant church and from there the wish a sparkling Israel ought to point speedy redemption got here to be. that is likewise exciting that is the time Hertzl and others were deamning Jews have their own state to the governments of Europe. also does this propose the finest Christian thinkers of historic past wwere all extraordinarily incorrect till 1948? Aquains? Wesley? The "end time" perfect is a mechanism to provide converts. It instills worry and movitation through giving immediacty to the conversion procedure. As a thief contained in the nighttime he will come! So hurry up and connect, enable you be too previous due!

Jeremiah 31:31
Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Isaiah 42:6
I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
Note the specific context of "A" new covenant and the people these passages refer to, Israel and Judah.
You can mess with non-Christians using out-of-context quotes. When you try this garbage on Christians you end up looking like a propagandist trying to twist God's word.
Trying to convince people that "The" and "A" are the same word works well when you are talking with kindergartners.

Jeremiah writes about the Jews (Israel) when they come to realize that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. And they will mourn for Christ as they would mourn for an only son. The Bible tells us by Saint Paul that a partial blindness has happened to Israel until the last Gentile comes in. When the last Gentile comes in all Israel will be saved. At some point in the future all Israel will recognize Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

That passage was fulfilled when the Jews returned from captivity in Babylon. That passage does not speak of a new covenant. That passage doesn't speak of a written Bible. At most you could say that as long as there is a need to teach each other about God, then Judah is still in captivity in Babylon. Of course, that would be a complete misunderstanding of the text...

The Old Covenant was the Mosaic Law, which Jesus came to fulfil. Since his sacrifice, the New Covenant has been in place, so therefore Christians do indeed live under the New Covenant.

the covenant with Abraham pointed to a time when there would be a new covenant. The old covenant was based on the law but the new covenant is based on what Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. the Apostle Paul writes in a few of his letters about this very thing.

Heb 9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions [that were] under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Do you notice what the Messiah came to redeem us from??
Yet many think we can contnue in sin that their perverted ideas of 'grace' may abound.

Which law will be written in their hearts? There are two. There are the laws given from God to the children of Israel, and Jesus' commands given.
Joh 15:10 “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love."
Jesus kept the Father's commandments (the law and old covenant) to the letter. In replacement, Jesus gives us only two major commandments--love God with all your heart, soul and mind--and love your neighbor as yourself.

Uhhh....because Jesus Christ said so?
Just look at the Mass:
All four accounts of the Words of Institution include the concept of a covenant in Jesus' blood.
"This is my blood of the covenant...." (Matthew 26:28)
"This is my blood of the covenant...." (Mark 14:24)
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood...." (Luke 22:20)
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood...." (1 Corinthians 11:25)

It is written "my people" not all people.
The covenant is directly related to the promises of baptism.
Look at Ezekiel 36 for comparison:
25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. 28 You will live in the land I gave your forefathers; you will be my people, and I will be your God.
