I have stayed away from Answers for a while. However, I decided, since I am home sick from work, to pop back on and see what I have been missing.

I have seen a few concerns posted about "fake" Vets and "fake" Vet Technicans posting on Answers. This is very bothersome.

So, here are my questions:

1) When you ask a question are you more opt to take the advice of someone who simply writes "I'm a Vet"; "Vet"; "DVM"; "My Vet Degree"; "Vet Technican", "CVT", etc. OR does that deter you knowing how members have been "faking" recently?

2) How do we know who is for real and who is not? Do we call these members out? Do we report them to Yahoo? It worries me that people will take horrible advice just because they write "I'm a Vet" or "I'm a Vet Technican".

3) Who is real, who isn't? I know of only ONE real Vet on here, but I haven't seen him in a while.

Everyday when i finish work i strule to wak home cos the pavements are over crowded with immigrants, in the central part of the city it's worse, i ahve to cross the road in the morning to avoid trampleing on immigrants who sleep on the streets? what do ppl think?

I just had my gallbladder removed last week and i just got my biopsy results today on my gallbladder they said i had cholecystitis.Im trying to do some research on this so far what i have read is that people with cholecystitis have gallstones. Three months ago I was check for gallstones with a ultrasound and that came up normal. Well last week when i went to the er they did a hida scan which showed only 2 percent of my gallbladder function. My question is how did i get cholecystits if i didnt have no gallstones???? I will ask my dr next week about this when i see him. Any info would be nice thank you!!

yes, the world is very complicated, but how can i be thaught any religion, without having any explanation of what so ever about the universe i live in , how can jesus come on earth and not talk about that ? how can buddha ? how can mohammed ? How can i learn and believe in god when this issue is clearly not resolved yet ... ? i dont want to hear its all a matter of faith ... And how do u believe we were created ? Big Bang ? Animals that have devellopped self concious ? All these questions i ask everyday when i recieve no clear answer... im only 15 and i hate to live as stupid as other people passing through this life like the animals surrounding them.

My husband bought me an orchid about 4 months ago it has lost all of it's blooms. I want to know how I can keep it alive and if it is still going to bloom or what is the deal with these things. Oh one of the leaves on the bottom turned yellow so I cut it off.

I checked the the specs, i have an 8800GTS, and I saw that there is now an 8800GT, I looked at the specs and they seem to be better than the GTS is this true, because I wanted to get another one for SLi mode but if that one is better should I just geta another one,
just another general gaming question here
I have gears of war and halo 2 for PC, everynow and then I will get a bit of fps loss to about 3fps, is it because I need more video memory, but I have 2GB of EPP RAM and it says total video meory is 1.15GB and my video card the 880GTS has 320MB of VRAM so whats wrong my processor is also an AMD FX-62 2.8Ghz
and everything is cooled properly too my cpu doesn't go above 40C, OS is vista but these games were built for vista so whats wrong and don't say CPU because I dont care about you intel enthusiasts telling me to get a core 2, I dont have money to upgrade as I pay college tuition and have an OEM OS cause I built the PC myself.

Why do most people want to look good, and preserve
their youth? What do they fear most of all from the aging
process? What IS the chief motivator for today's anti-aging
scientific research?
It is the threat that aging poses to SEXUAL VIABILITY.
Whether it is impotence, lost libido, or simply the ugliness
and undesirability that age brings, we DON'T accept it,
pious platitudes and "wisdom" to the contrary.
Could it be, there's a lot of hard, physical work to do in
"Heaven" that requires youth and vigor? (Add that to the
no-sex business and I've just decribed HELL though, haven't
I..?)
Indeed, why would Christians look forward to "never growing old" in "Heaven"? The place would seem more fitted to a population of pruny (albeit healthy and "spry") 98-year-olds, doing 98-year-old things. Indeed, physical beauty in the humans in "Heaven" would be a distraction from staring slack-jawed at "God", right?
-Which IS what "Heaven" is all about - right..?

jumped into a relationship with this guy and we moved in together. Been with him for 5 months now. I love him but we fight a lot. He plays World of Warcraft ALL THE TIME! If he's not doing that then he's playing console games. Sometimes he'll play until the early hours of the morning and then hop into bed expecting sex. If we happen to go out and do anything on the weekend it's because I planned it. I keep the apartment clean and he'll clean something only if nag him to death about it.I used to feel like I knew him my whole life and know I feel like I don't know who he is at all. He says I nag too much, and I've tried to back off but damn it I'm so bored with our relationship. I try to tell him how i feel and he just gets angry and plays more games.I've never been in a long term relationship so i'm wondering if something is wrong with me like maybe i'm sabotaging it. My husband and I are planning on taking our 8 month old daughter to Chuck E Cheese this weekend. I know she'll like the little show with the animatronic characters and will love to watch all the kids running around.

However, I'm just curious... Does anyone know if the generally have ANYTHING for little ones? Any rides, etc? I know every location differs, but I'm just wondering.

I just dont see why most people see shyness as being so bad. My 7 year old is EXTREMELY shy with adult strangers and I have heard (lately) some negative comments about it. Just frustrates me because he is absolutely the sweetest kid regardless of him being shy.
