I'll give you certain hints which my guru Vethetiri Maharishi gave. They were quite reasonble & scientific & anybody with a thinking mind will find out the answer. So many have given about it but we couldn't understand. Why?Be cause we were not up to their mental frequency & we keep arguing.
You know that when Buddha was asked about God, he was silent, since he couldn't explain the term soonya. When said soonya is the cause of the universe, no one will believe now , then how about the people in his period when science was not developed.Atleast now we can give examples of electricity, saying that it does so many work but we cannot see it.This was the one example my guru gave when asked why we can't see God & how can anything be evolved from soonya.
Whatever my guru said was not anything new, it was all in the vedas.Only thing we couldn't understand it.He said that mind is used to 3 dimensions. we think that soonya cannot be the cause for the evolution. He has very clearly said about soonya. It is everlasting, singular, almighty, allpenetrative, highly transparent, impercestible, dark matter, which has a self compressive surrounding pressure force& that transforms into an enrgy particle, which is a whirling wave.Everything was inherent in the space.
He also put forth another simple question,WHICH WILL BE THE MIGHTIEST, THE THING OR THE ONE WHICH HOLDS THE THING.only that holds anything will be stronger.Very simple answer.
He then asked where does the universe exists.Th universe is floating on the space. So he said then space is mightier than the universe.Still our mind will not accept it.
He then said soonya is the one which existed,is existing & will exist.Everything evolved cos of the self compressive surrounding force of the space. He gives 3 qualities of the space. They are force, consciuos & totality.Because of the force the Universe came into being, & the conscious made it to function with a pattern, precision & regularity.Everything put together is the Totality. You can refer all this in his books Brahna gnam & universal magnetism.
To understand all these we should go to a lower freqencty.Think about it when you are calm.
2 hrs later:
This space is the consiousness, not the ondinary consciousness but the super consciousness in all the human beings. Animals also have cosciousness, functions as instinct. In the 1 sensed plants it functions as pattern precision & regularity.
We are here to realize that consciousness within us. only for this we do meditation.Until the mind is there we will not be able to realize it.
All these lessons were given only after we have practiced meditation for about 2 or 3 months.Only then our mental frequency would have come to alpha level from beta level.

First of all, God is spelled with a capital "G". Now, everything in the Universe is relative, it is all a matter of how much you want to worry about the Whole thing, or you can just enjoy life, and believe we 'are' here. And how we got here? does it matter? is it going to really really make you act different? God is God and to believe in Him is what will make you feel whole, or you can spend your time doubting,That is your choice, He doesn't really care if you believe in Him, even though to do so makes your time through this life easier. having said that, Organized religion is one thing, and it is mainly man made, Faith, now that is what gives you peace, do you want it? Take it, or you can doubt it and wonder why and how, don't and go about questioning everything, that won't make you feel any better than to be wondering what to do, where to go, and all those things. Life is good, don't go complicating it, 15 is an age to learn and discover, not to ask and/or doubt the existence of The One that can give you everything.

Move in the world as a heart response.
Pose your questions, you will ultimately live the answers.
Look at all philosophy, theosophy, religion, science, but do not get bound by any.
Stand apart and learn to witness all that is around you.
Many answers you find in nature, the way plants grow, death, and change.
It is not complicated. If you think that, it will seem so.
Your thoughts direct your life, so watch these.
Read much, question much, listen more, then you will find silence profound.
There is no clear answer, it is subjective, til there is no subject.
Relax around these questions, when the pupil is ready the teacher will come.
The teacher is you.
The ultimate goal is peace in the heart.
Peace in the heart
God is Gracious

You are on the right track and you have many of the big buzz words down (without explanation as usually taught).
Your track is to keep asking questions, better and more subtle questions, and when answers come as they well then that begs more and yet more subtle questions.
Do not allow yourself to forget a good question. Good questions are hard to ask, and lead to important realizations.
As for Universe and Religion: these two bits are normally at loggerheads.
As for Buddha coming to Earth, well he was born here and never claimed to be a God, nor is he worshiped as a god.
As for your last remark, well, there seems to be a huge dumbing-down going on so pay attention and keep track of good questions.
Very best to you,

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.
This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.
At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.
We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.
These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.
From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.
I hope that helps to answered your question.
Love and blessings Don

The best answer I could come up with is that we evolved from cells being in a water since life cannot flourish without water. Our bodies are even made of mostly water. Exactly how we humans came into existence is a mystery. We do know that we came from the universe. It has gases and chemicals in its processes and iteraction with itself. Somehow we developed out of that as a product of the universe. Then, our consciousness developed also. It was cellular processes that gave us life and nothing else.

religion is an attempt to answer the questions we cant begin to understand, let alone know the answer to. its about finding a cosmic purpose in what anyone else might see as a meaningless existence. the truth is, all religions attempt to answer the unexplainable, but none of them can be completely right if theyre all made by human beings. since no one knows the universal truth, there can only be the truth as you see it, based on your own observations of the world and the morals you see as most important. that is your religion.

My advice to you is to do your own thinking, your own research. Read, gather information, and decide for yourself what you want to believe. It is good to talk to people about these things. But often with conversation, there are much more emotional elements and irrelevant opinions that don't help you. Study first, talk second. And even with the study, you will get a presentation of the information from a certain perspective. Make your own judgments and decide what makes sense to you.

mark...intelligent questions..keep asking....libraries have been written in an attempt to answer the questions you ask.
Study on your own...discuss with peers to a limited degree....accept only those opinions/beliefs that you have ascertained to be true. there are many books to assist. my suggestion as a beginning point is The Field (do not recall author), of course study the religious works also.
good luck with your studies

LET'S BEGIN WITH THE BIG BANG THEORY. THERE WAS A SPHERE OF MATTER WHICH CONTAINED ALL THE MATTER NEEDED TO FORM THE UNIVERSE AND THE PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE WERE SO GREAT THAT THERE WAS A TREMENDOUS EXPLOSION AND WE ARE STILL SEEING THE EFFECTS OF IT TODAY. SO I'LL BUY IT AS SOON AS YOU EXPLAIN TO ME WHERE THE SPHERE OF MATTER CAME FROM AND WHAT CAUSED IT TO EXPLODE. WITH OUT A CREATOR THERE IS NO WAY TO EXPLAIN IT. I'LL GIVE YOU A WEEK TO ANSWER MY QUESTION. AFTER YOU ANSWER IT WE WILL MOVE ON TO OTHER PARTS OF YOUR INQUIRY.
