I don't believe there is a 'god', nor therefore do I believe that there was ever a 'son of god'.

I do reckon though that there once was a man (an ordinary, mortal man) called Jesus, who taught his friends and followers many good, strong moral lessons, and encouraged them to pass them on.

After hundreds (then thousands) of years of being told and retold, these lessons (as well as information relating to the man himself and his life) have been warped, exaggerated and embellished beyond recognition, to the point where he's become some kind of supernatural superbeing.

If I'm right then christianity itself is a bit like a giant game of chinese whispers (or 'telephone' in the US), spread out over two thousand years.

What do we think, answers community? Anyone agree, or care to comment?

A particle, P, moves along the x-axis. P is initially at rest at the origin, O. At time, T, seconds the acceleration of P in the direction of x is increasing is (3t^2-14t+12)ms^-2. Find:

I tried equating the equation to zero and it almost factors to -3 and -4.

I am naturally smaller than her, but yet when I told her my weight, she soon after developed an eating disorder. I have one too, she doesn't know about it but this is an example of how she ALWAYS tries to be "better."

I know that bestfriends are about going through life together, NOT about trying to have a "better" life.

I have a another very close friend, she talks down about her just because she's my best friend.
She tries to say she's smarter than me, and that she has better grades. But it's not even true.. at all.. and it really bugs me.

She's a know it all and ALWAYS thinks she's right.
She shoots down every fun idea that I have, and mopes at lunch when my other friends sit with us. Sorry she doesn't have any other friends besides me..

But WHY must she always make everything into a competition?

i have never made this and have just been thinking of something easy to do and cheap for christmas treats.
Take one cup sugar mix with 1 egg tsp vanilla and 2 tbs. butter or maragarine. Mix well. Use mandarin oranges, bananas and maybe mandarin cherries. Coat the fruits in the sugar mixture and bake. Would this even turn out? Would it be too sweet? Do i need to add something or take something out? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They are grown, and got along well from small thru high school. It really started at my son's wedding when his married sister and some friends messed his apartment up as a joke. They did not destroy anything. Now my son can't get past this and has said I always loved my daughter best and he wants really nothing to do with his family anymore. I am devastated.

I'm fed up with my boring old office job at work. I'm working in a telesales role at a newspaper and have been there for about a year. The people are nice the canteen is amzing but I just don't like it...at all!! I studied drama at university and want to be a stand up comic but somehow I've got stuck in a rubbish 9-5 desk job. I'm lost and I don't know what to I want to do something that fits with who I am (e.g fun outgoing silly and funny) But I have no clue how to start. I don't want to do something pointless, and I don't want to do something that pays really badly. Where should I start looking? Websites, Papers etc....I'd like to work with children maybe or animals or fish...but they're just examples....ANY RECCOMENDATIONS. Please please please don't write silly or pointless messages.

I bought pretty sturdy screws, they're for wood as I was told and they"re about 3-4 inches long. I drilled a hole (smaller in diameter) into the wall, which the wall is made out of solid wood, so that the screw goes in easier. But when I put the screw in, after about half the way they don't go any further as easy as until here. When I put more pressure on them and try to force them in they just break in half, although the hole is pre-drilled all the way.

What should I do??

I need to know what to do. Here is how it started.

I walked into school and my girlfriend was talking to her friends. I have her a hug and said, wow you look pretty today, and she said "So i'm ugly the other days?" and left.

We met back up, and talked for sometime, and then I said. Oops gotta go to class, love you. And she said, "What am i not important enough for you to be late?"

She then started ignoring me when I tried to talk to her, and her friends were around and so we all started talking, and she got mad saying i was flirting with her best friends...

I wrote her a poem, about how beautiful, smart and talented she was and how much she means to me, and she said "Is this the best you got?"

What is wrong? I mean, this is not like her, she has had some rough spots in the past 2 years, but I mean come on, she is still mad at me for some reason, so what do i do?
