i dont get it why do we still ue coal power if we just had less coal power plans we will have less global warming not nuclear cus thats really dangerous apparently but whats wrong wid hydro n wind n solar like in england we cud use alot of wind power and hydro and i live near a coal power plant and its stupid can some1 plz tell me why we stil have these coal power plants still with all the problems they cause

Is it silly to put something on a birth certificate when you plan to generally call them a shortened version?

I've been friends with this girl who I met at this volunteer org for a while. Recently I think she's coming on to me. She asked me for my # and when we talk about something volunteer related she would ask me personal questions.

I guess it's going well so far. We hung out a few times, but it's usually with the entire volunteer group. She always tries to get me to stay after our volunteer meetings to grab something to eat or asks me to drive her home.

The only thing I'm wondering about is she's like 7-8 yrs older than I am, and she has a stable fancy job, and I'm still 20 y/o in college. Everytime we hang out, she always picks up the tab, even though I offer to pay for us both or at least for my portion. She always says that it's okay b/c she knows I don't make much money at my job.

I just feel like I don't want to be unfair. And I'm not sure how it will go if it stays like this w/ the age and financial thing. Anyone have ideas about dating older girls? What do you think I should do?

There is this this guy that has been coming to our church for a few times and he has a goatee and me and some of the other women were talking about it and how the Bible says men aren't to shave the corners of their beard and we got concerned for him because we don't think he knows any better so then I talked to my husband about it and he said he wasn't going to say anything to the man about it and I got sad so I talked it over with the ladies and they said it wasn't our place to confront a man about something and that it was the elders job. So, I went out with this girl a few times and had a great time. I really like her personality (she asked me out), and her sense of style. However, just last week just in a matter of two days everything suddenly changed. I spoke to her midweek and asked her out to this show. Her response was that she would love to go see it. However, when I tried to follow up with her later with timing and her schedule, I got no response. About two days later, I got an e-mail response that she is going through some personal issues and is really busy the next couple of weeks. She said that I should see it. She also said that she will let me know when things get smoother. To a certain extent, i can understand her work schedule as it is very demanding. So, I don't know what to do. Any help and insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!
