I don't know if I would have a lot of Christmas decorations up unless everyone that is coming is planning on celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas together...I think it is important to celebrate them both in their own rights..I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and that your get together is successful and filled with many good memories..please let me also wish PEACE to you and yours today and everyday...;0)

I put out my fall and Thanksgiving decorations and dont do Christmas decorating until after Thanksgiving. I hate to take away from the meaning of the day. Its such a great holiday where all the family gets together and just enjoys good food and each other. Christmas has a long enough season as it is.

Maybe just winter-y decorations like holly and berries. If you put the tree out and it's real it might not last until Chirstmas day. Growing up we always waited until the day after thanksgiving to pull out the christmas carols. But these days they are playing christmas carols on the first day of November. So you could probably play some christmas music.

They do a Christmas parade on the Riverwalk in San Antonio on Thanksgiving every year. You could go either way on this one. Thanksgiving is a cool holiday, so you could just go with a winter/Thanksgiving theme. Thanksgiving is also the start of the Christmas season, so you could go that direction too. Personally, I'd stick with Thanksgiving.

Putting the tree up would be nice. It gives off a nice warm holiday glow! I would wait on the snowmen and other Christmas/winter decorations though! Have a nice holiday!

No, I wouldn't. Just one Holiday at a time please.
If you have to let them see your Christmas decorations leave them up after Christmas.
