my cat sometimes lick oil in our frying pan.. my brother told me.. but why?.. i thought i've been feeding him well but why he still wants to lick oil?.. is it good for him.. or does the oil poison him if he frequently licks it...

Hi all, I am just TTC (1st month) and have a couple of questions. I know that the first week of pregnancy is considered the 1st day of your cycle, which means by the time you really know you're pregnant you're usually three/four weeks pregnant? Is that correct?

Now I had no idea of this (just found it out on Yahoo answers!Thanks guys!!) and was drinking loads of coffee and had a couple of glasses of wine during my period. I don't know why but I just assumed I would stop drinking around ovulation. Is this a huge no-no? Can you do damage this way?

I am supposed to prove this is a divergent series. I'm trying to apply the Integral Test. I think the function is positive, continuous and decreasing on x > or equal to 1, but I can't integrate this. Please help me find the anti-derivative of:

1/(1 + 2ln(x))

When you have an infinite series like this, can you compare logarithms using a direct comparison or limit comparison?

I just got a chihuahua puppy three days ago. I noticed her panting early and asked the vet today, he said as long as she's eating good and her temperatures okay, then she's fine. I have checked her for worms also.

My puppy is 16 weeks old and she sleeps A LOT. She'll sleep perfectly fine, then sometimes start to breath faster and louder, then she'll start to pant. She doesn't seem in pain at all, but I wake her anyway, she looks normal, but still pants for a while. I get scared so I give her water everytime after I wake her up and she usually drinks.

She's eating perfectly fine but she has diarreah right now, but that's because I didn't have enough of her old food to wean her properly. I'm feeding her chicken soup for puppys kibbles, but today I tried giving her some rice and chicken mixed with the kibbles. Let me know if there's any other way I can settle her stomach.

Well i just bought a Acoustic Authority A-3640 speaker system.. and i just noticed when i have it really low.. i can hear some sort of feedback like clicking static and i don't know i am just really picky and i hate the fact it makes that noise but is this normal? i am pretty sure it is.. because my old speakers did the same thing.. and i checked all the plugs.. and cables they are all connected perfectly.. and i can hear this static noise from all speaker sattelites not just one.. so im sure its normal what do you think?

My twins are about to leave home for college and I don't really know how to cope with that..My eldest daughter who graduated from highschool in 1999 get's angry everytime I talk about them leaving home..I do have two more children still in elementry but still It won't be the same without them.
