Can I calculate tonicity with molarity instead of osmolarity when I'm dealing with glucose and water?
I'm trying to calculate the tonicity of a fruit or vegetable w/glucose. I read that since glucose still retains its molecular structure in water, it is okay to use molarity instead of osmolarity.
I'm still a little bit confused about tonicity. Is there a specific quintative unit to describe tonicity or is it just classified into isotonic, hypertonic and hypotonice? So how would I determine the tonicity of a certain fruit or vegetable?

And which fruit or vegetable has a good amount of glucose?

I mean they always put stuff that is way too hard to read. Like:
C u l8r
he sad dat he was comin n al

I mean it gets on my nerves! I just want to be able to read what they are saying. It's fine if they mispell something or put a U for you every once in a while, but I hate it when they completely blow out. Am I crazy? Or, is there anyone else out there that feels the same way I do?

I hate laboratory work and I feel drained every time I go through it. I hate all the chemicals and the pressure to do things precisely and to get it done within the allotted time. The problem is the this is my 3rd major change and I don't want to make anymore major changes anymore. i've had it. The dr can't help me. He'll just tell me switch to something else but then I'll be back to the beginning again. i just want to finish school. I've come to believe there's nothing I'd rather do than get a Science major degree. I love theoretical science. i just hate the practical side of it.

I've heard of these man made diamonds that cost half the price of natural diamonds because they use a compressor to make them out of coal. Just wondering if anyone knows how long the process is.

I just heard it for the first time today, it's amazing. I always didn't like Johnny Cash because I hate country, but this song is awsome. And the video is even better, I almost cried watching it... who else thinks this song is awsome? i usually don't like songs like this.

November, a month of giving thanks and generous tithes. Donating to charity is what many will do as a result in Thanksgiving attitudes. One easy step in making a difference is clicking 'click-to-donate' sites. Donating a click is the simplest and most thrifty way to give money to charity; in fact, you don't have to give money at all. Basically, 'click-to-donate' sites are websites where users can click a button to generate a donation because they get money from advertisers whose banners are displayed each time a user clicks the button. Some sites generate a donation even just for visiting a site. There are outstanding outcomes brought out by the generous 'clickers'. Just looking at the daily results of thehungersite.com shows that they came up with 4,250,785 clicks (just in the month Oct'07), which brought forth 4,803,372 cups of food. All those cups of food for impoverished children, and it all started when a person took the first step in clicking.

what u think so far?

I know they provide blankets pillows and other stuff when they go to homeless shelters. I notice that the shelters give out items aswell, socks clothes foot powder deodorant etc... the one I know of at least..

I am asking more like, what do they usually need that shelters usually don't have enough of.. I know foot powder is usually something they run out quite quickly. Warm hats...

Anything else?

I know Jobs and a home is obvious..
Serious people only please.

But This is more of a giveaway bag my friend needs to know what to buy and hand out.

I've heard the more cards you use, the better it is for your rating. Is that true or not?

I just don't want to keep track of 3 different bills every months, and it seems easier to get rewards if you use everything on one card.

I went on a date with this guy I liked last month. I think he was kinda intimidated by the fact that unlike most girls he dated, I was career-oriented and was not going to just have sex with him. He's also suffering from the 'since I broke up with the only girlfriend I ever had,I've decided to just fool around' kinda guy. For that reason, I kinda stopped talking to him and a part of him was hoping he'd make an effort because I am a good girl. After a month, and him totally ignoring me since he seems to have a fan club of chicks, I erased him from my msn and my facebook friends. My friends say I was wrong and should have just been more aggressive and he would have decided to me be with me. Was I wrong to think that if he liked me, he'd have made an effort? Was I wrong to completely cut him off? Will it make me look like a fool?
