I moved into a house that was converted to an upstairs/downstairs duplex and I live alone downstairs. A couple lives upstairs. When signing the lease, I agreed to pay one third of the gas, electric and water because the house had only one meter. Later, I found out that the couple above has a dishwasher, regular sized fridge and a gas fireplace. I have a small apartment fridge, no dishwasher and a no fireplace. I asked the owners (landlords, as well), if I could get a separate meter, but they said no. I signed an agreement to pay one third, but that third was not fully disclosed. Outside of refusing to pay my share, what recourse do I have?

I want a small, friendly, frisky, intelligent dog. I like dogs that will look you in the eye, and pay attention, not ones that always seem to be distracted by something else.

My ideal dog would like to hike with me (I can make weekend trips to some great hills), does not shed, is not aggressive or mean, and is good looking (as opposed to the dogs that are "so ugly they're kind of cute".

I like cocker spaniels, but don't know much about them. I've seen c.ock-a-poos, and other mixes, but I don't know if they enjoy being outdoors and walking a lot.

Importantly, I need a dog that doesn't weigh much more than 20 pounds maximum. I want to be able to lift him up without killing my back.

What do you think is the best dog for me? (I live in a city where the summers aren't too hot, and winters have only occasional cold days).

I live in an apartment where there are no parks close by. I would probably have to walk a good twenty minutes to get to one.

Previously, I was advised that all credit inquiries after 90 days can be removed but via a written request. What I would like to know is if that is true and if not what is the best way to have credit entries removed from my file after the 90 days that they are required to remain on a person's credit file.

I have been Catholic for my whole life since my parents were. However, my son is interested in Mormonism. Last time he got Book of Mormon from the missionaries and I let him buy some scriptures from the Mormon Church on-line. And today he asked me if he could buy "Mormonism for Dummies" and I refused. I'm afraid that he's getting into it. Although I don't know much about Mormonism, I know that it has negative reputation and I want my son to be in the majority. For now, he's rational since he asks me to attend (Catholic) Church regularly as I used to do and enjoys learning other religions as well. But he clearly identifies him as a Mormon-although not a member-and I'm afraid that he might eventually become irrational. Also, when I yelled at him as he asked me for permission to buy the book, he was dissapointed and quietly said "I live in America but have no freedom of religion".
What should I do? I somewhat understand what my son said but don't want him to be a Mormon. Please help.

I need responses for a survey for my Statistics class. I need responses from those ages 18 to 29. Are you more likely to eat fast food or cook your own meal? I need you age and gender, as well.

Thanks in advance! I am an "old" college student (working on my Masters) and I take courses online, so I have NO contact with people in this age group.

I have this friend who says that she's going to stop by just to say hi and then stays for 4 hours. So by the second hour, I'm just like "Wow, I have a lot of homework to do." and then pick up my homework and start working on it. But she goes on talking about random stuff. I mean, i don't want to tell her to leave or anything but I'm piled with stuff to do for school. How do I tell her to leave without hurting her feelings?

She is allergic to many things, but specifically onions and garlic. She is only two and I'd like some "mild" seasoning to spruce up her plain food. Thanks

My mom made beef stew like 2.5 weeks ago and froze parts of it right away. Is it still okay for me to eat it tonight?

This is what I have to resort to when my mom doesn't pick up her cell and I live away from home!

Thanks!

My husband is 40 going on 20. He MUST go out EVERY night of the week! No joke. Every single night he has to be the life of every party everywhere in town. He has his places where all the drunks know him. He drags in drunk every night between 11pm(on a good night) and either 3am or never comes home from wherever he is. We have kids that I sit home with every night. He does nothing for them. I take care of, feed, diaper, play with and teach and put to bed the kids every night alone. He has a whole other life I am no part of. I sit home and he lives it up every night! I think he might be on drugs. No one can stay up all night every night unless you take something. Anyways I am getting angry and depressed more and more each day. I can't stand him talking about all these people he knows and how much they like him and gag gag gag...yeah while your wife and kids sit home like prisoners do the people know that about you? I cry and feel lonely every day...what should I do? See a Dr or leave?
