I'm about 7 months along and lately i've been really irratible. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with being pregnant or not, but i constantly feel as if i could go off on any one for simple little things. Is there anything that i can do to help ease my irritability?

Don't worry it's normal I'm 32.5 weeks pregnant and for the past few weeks i have found i get irratible very easy, I try counting back from ten to calm down or even stepping out side for some fresh air don't worry it will pass.

I think taking Saint John's Wart is good for moods but check to see if its suitable to take when pregnant.
Usually its just something that comes with the pregnant territory and you need to find a way to relax your mind so you don't feel so irratible. I found that yogo or body balance (a cross between yoga, pilates & tai chi) helped me to relax with my 2nd pregnancy because I was always so tense and cranky. It was a time just for me to be alone and relax.

Best of luck

I know how you feel. I've been the same way since I was about 7 months pregnant.

When I start getting that way I try to call someone that can just listen to me vent. It helps tremendously just to get the anger/fustration out of your system and move on and forget about it.

Relax, its your hormones. I found that walking, or even cleaning seemed to help me. My dr even prescribed me with zoloft to help with my hormones, but it takes about a month to start working. You cant help the way your feeling and hopefully your spouse is being supportive. I would find myself yelling at my 3 year old and he wasn't even doing anything wrong. I decided to just find projects around the house, or eat lots of chocolate to help relieve some stress.

i was exactly the same in my first pregnancy. try counting to ten or breathing (like they teach you to get ready for labour!) or if someone really irritates you just walk away.
