Meals that have been cooked and frozen will stay good anywhere from 3 to 6 months, depending on the ingredients. Since beef stew would use fairly sturdy ingredients (I'm guessing carrots, potatoes, and onions), it'll be fine for you to eat until at least February.
I make chicken soup about every 3 months and freeze it. It tastes just as good, if not better, several weeks later as it did the day I made it. Enjoy!

As long as you have it frozen, then all you have to do is thaw it out. If it has been in the refrigorator, then chances are it is going to be really bad. But if it has been properly frozen, then you should be fine.
