Hi, I know lined curtains keep the heat in, but i suffer from SADS and I need sunlight into the house in the winter when it is cold outside, What is the best way to let sunlight in and keep heat in ? Is there an expensive window that does this, ? i am outdated and also this house was built in 1981 with no updates ??? I am on a tight budget, but my heat is going out and I want to start somewhere, Hope this makes sense, from the rambling 56 year old dino :)

My friends and I decided to rent an apartment. We saw one we liked and the caretaker said we have to pay a reservation fee so they won't entertain possible tenants anymore... which we did. When we're about to settle the arrangements a few days later, they suddenly changed the conditions on the contract , thus making us back out. We asked for the money to be returned but they wouldn't saying it's "earnest money" meaning it's not refundable regardless of whether or not we push thru with the rent. Can we still get the money back? And how?

I heard that daddy longlegs or jerrylonglegs or whatever you want to call them! The things that are paperlight, fly, have long legs(duh) and thin long body. So lets say you wanted to add water to the atmosphere. Pump water from the sea to DV and it would evaporate hopefully loading the atmosphere with water encouraging it to rain. The water would be distilled, so pure. And the salt left behind to wreck the land where no one wants to go. What would happen???????????? Enviroment, weather wise and all that. I don’t mean to be ageist, but surely lunch times are for the workers? They get in the way with their trolleys, tut at you when you rush past…we have a one hour window, surely we should have more space! They can shop anytime…but you can guarantee they will use their bank card to pay for 3 oranges and a tin of soup!
