I disagree. I just found the question you are quoting. The person who said this was responding to an answer. He followed it up with I hate all whites but I am not a racist.

Yes, I believe that Black people can not be racist because you need two elements, power and money. Black people do not have that. The definition of racism is "a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race" Majority is most white people have more money and the belief that they are better than other races. It's like a person in school gets better grades than you. They start to tease you and saying that they are better than you b/c they got better grades. They have the position or "economic dominance" over the person who got bad grades. It's hard for the person who has bad grades to think they are better than the one that has the good grades, there's not power or "economic dominance " in that. But I'm sure if the rules were reversed, black people would be the racist.

Anyone can be racist. The point I think they are trying to make is that when you are white and racist, it affects a lot more people than when you are black and racist. You guys have the power to hire and fire people. You guys have the businesses, money, ability to lend money, etc. We don't. So when you are racist, it keeps people from being able to take care of their families. A black person being racist does nothing but hurt themselves. Blacks onlymake up 5% of hiring positions nationwide. We don't even make up enough of the country's economic power to be considered in networks catering to our interests in tv shows. When was the last time you were on hold at a business and heard a urban style of music? We have no power, racism with no power is still racism, but it doesn't affect anyone but that racist person.
FYI, poll 1000 whites, there are likely going to be 500 of them that will say racism doesn't exist. 400 others will likely say it doesn't affect anyone today.

There are ethnocentric blacks who are very convinced that Africans are the superior race. I don't know if that's because Africa is the birthplace of civilization or what.
On AVERAGE, though, blacks are more PREJUDICED/CYNICAL towards whites than racist. They don't trust whites. They assume whites are racist toward them. That's different than believing blacks are the superior race.
But, yea, I disagree because I have met hardcore ethnocentric Africans.
