DIsclaimer: This question is sincere; it's not meant to irritate anyone. Anyway, I have often heard how Blacks need to "get over" slavery and stop blaming all of their problems on slavery (or racism). I've heard many Black folks talk about slavery and racism with each other, but I've never heard a fellow Black person blame all (or even most) of his/her problems on slavery / racism. Is there a significant # of Black folks who do this (apparently somewhere I don't live), or are accusations to this effect all just a lot of hype?

I voted for Bush in 2000, but didn't like the job he did, so in 2004, I did not vote for him (but I still voted). Am I allowed to still support him since he did win the election, or do I have to bash him at every chance I get?

I believe that my school isn't giving me the education that I need to pass the college which I want to attend which is Ateneo. The only people who pass Ateneo in our school (all girl school by the way) are the really smart genius students. Even my brother says so. There are only few teachers in our school who are good. Actually just 3-5. Three of those teachers are leaving and one is transferring to teach at ADMU. I don't think the other teachers teach that well. I am NOT getting the education that I expected from them. The fourth year this year took the test in UP and they said they still haven't taken up some of the topics that were asked in the exams. Only few passed ADMU.
What should I do?

Irreducible complexity

Read this article that helps shed light on the impossibility of Darwinism. Science needs to start looking into other possibilities as to how we came to be.

Let this next generation be free of the grasp of religious DARWINISM and let science be FREE!

Irreducible complexity's not a very well known subject, but ever so important. By the time Darwin developed his theory of evolution, there was hardly any knowledge about the complexity of a cell.

....because of those guys in the first row pounding on the wall. Really, it got annoying because the experts at Fox put a microphone right next to them. It was either turn off the sound, or the game. You who stayed with the game missed an awesome finish to the BC -VT game!

I say first to 24 wins. Agree or Disagree? Why?

I think the Skins'll continue with the no-blitz D to minimize Brady's danger level... obviously there's no stopping the Golden Boy, he's just too good. but if they can cut his efficiency... Don't wanna jinx my team lol. It won't matter that the skins don't worry mcuh about their run D, since NE can't run the ball at all anyway. If Campbell finally finds a WR for a TD or 2, that, in combination with the Skins lights out D, could make the difference.

all that said, my pick is still Pats 31, Skins 17.

I have a 'complicated medical history' as my many doctors say. The three main things I have to keep an eye on is my epilepsy - caused by a non-malignant brain tumor, my heart - dilated cardiomyopathy, and my kidneys and bladder are failing.
I sometimes have TIA, or mini-strokes as some people call them. My last one was last week. My home nurse/carer keeps regular obs each day, including my blood pressure, last night it went up to 199/135 my heart rate was 201bpm. My heart very often 'misses' a beat, but last night it was very irregular, it 'missed' several beats and then suddenly increased this showed up on the bp machine.
I am on the waiting list for a new heart, and today I feel okish. But my left arm is very numb and there is hardly any feeling in my fingers. Everytime I pick something up with my left hand I immediately drop it.

Should I be overly worried, or is this normal for someone in my condition.

Serious answers only please, thank you.

and are you penalised in some way if you cancel? I had 5 and just took on another for the great balance transfer deal. I haven't used 3 of the old cards for ages. If I cancel them would this be held against me in credit scoring terms? On the other hand does having six cards count against you?
