I believe that my school isn't giving me the education that I need to pass the college which I want to attend which is Ateneo. The only people who pass Ateneo in our school (all girl school by the way) are the really smart genius students. Even my brother says so. There are only few teachers in our school who are good. Actually just 3-5. Three of those teachers are leaving and one is transferring to teach at ADMU. I don't think the other teachers teach that well. I am NOT getting the education that I expected from them. The fourth year this year took the test in UP and they said they still haven't taken up some of the topics that were asked in the exams. Only few passed ADMU.
What should I do?

If you have the money, try hiring a professional tutor who can teach you well especially in Algebra and Trigonometry and English Grammar.

If you don't have money, just borrow Algebra and Trigonometry and English books from your school's library and study at your own. If you can't understand them, you can seek the assistance of your "best" teachers or any relative who is knowlegeable in those.

Read many books. Both UP and ADMU entrance exams have difficult reading comprehenssion subtests.

If you have difficulty in English (many Filipinos do) and you don't feel that reading books help you, try watching English films and/or Japanese animes with English subtitles. With these, you can enjoy and at the same time familiarize yourself with English.

I can't guarantee if this will work. Sadly, this has something to do with IQs too. People with low IQs have hard time understanding these subjects. Just try your best. If you fail, you can just try other schools. Mapua, UE, and UST are all good universities.

Why not enter a review center for the ADMU test. A lot of people in the Philippines do that 8D. Also, you stated that there are some geniuses, why not ask help from them, I believe that geniuses are made and not born. If you want the easy way, apply for a non-quota course to have a better chance of passing. Then again, you should just do your best and study hard. Good luck when you do take your test XD

What school?? Saint Paul College, Mirriam or the other ones?
I suggest that studying in advance is the key. Doing this would brighten your mind and will make you pass the all mighty University of the Philippines (UP).
