I remember doing YMCA kids holiday programmes and they were fun but I never stayed down there, since that was never an option.

I stayed 3 nights at the YMCA in Honolulu in 1978. A short walk to Waikiki Beach. That was a good time.

As a youngster in the middle or later 1970's I would spend quite a few Fridays or Saturdays out there. It was all good then.
