According to the Gospel of Mark (Mark 3:19-21, 31), during the period when Jesus was preaching, Mary and his brothers believed that he was mentally ill, or "out of his mind" as per the KJV. The Gospel of John comments that "neither did his brothers believe in him" (John 7:5). Jesus, in turn, rejected them (Mark 3:31-35, Matthew 12:46-50, Luke 8:19-21).

Apparently, Mary, the mother of Jesus, forgot the visits of angels, magi, and shepherds. The prophecies of Anna and Simeon completely slipped her mind. Most of all Mary seems to have forgotten her own impregnation by the Holy Spirit.

My brother is getting married and combining 2 households (second marriage for both and there are 6 kids involved). The only thing they need is some money to help them finish their basement so they have room for the entire family under one roof. They would like to ask for Home Depot gift cards, but don't know how to word it. Any suggestions? Is it rude to do at all? At the High School I attended, being Christian wasn't the cool thing. We believers had to endure great mocking and occasionally even physical abuse from the popular crowd. One of the very worst was a member of the football team. He would always make very crude jokes is classes and often singled me out for particular derision, even going so far as to tell people that I was gay for Christ. Worse, he also seduced a very nice Christian girl, causing her to be disowned by her family and eventually hospitalized for a mental breakdown.

Now fast forward 10 years. I am living in a nearby city, a respected member of my congregation and suddenly a few months ago that same football player from my high school has started attending my church. Of course he is playing the big reformed sinner role to the hilt. Every week he gets up to testify about how bad he was, but now he has found God. Everybody buys it and it is driving me crazy. How can I show people what he's really like?

A mechanic told me I needed to replace my front axle wheel bearing soon. It's a Dodge Neon 2002. He said I don't need to worry it about for a month or two and it'll cost a few hundred dollars. I am not trusting this guy because I've been doing some research online. No one is open over the weekend so I thought I'd post it hear. It's making noise (not too loud) and I can feel it a little.

1. How long can I wait? It doesn't seem right I can wait a month or two but I'm also trying to figure it into my budget. (I mostly only drive under 35 around town)

2. How much will it cost (ballpark)? I've been looking around and a lot of people say it's a fairly easy job and the part is 20 bucks so "a few hundred" just doesn't sound right. I'm just trying to see if I can trust this guy.

Ok, so Hank Steibrenner has recently said the yankees are a "transition" team, meanwhile George Steinbrenner says they need a world series, i dont know where Hal Steinbrenner is, and the Yankees need a manger still! Most of their coaches are in jeopardy, and the whole team is in danger of losing their jobs. So how can they have all these distractions, and just roll right through them during the offseason and lead themselves to a world series victory?

Do you think they have any shot at winning it all in 2008, and do you think they have bad years ahead of them?

He paid child support for a child that was not his and the child was concieve while they were married now she is continuely going up on the child support he is already paying for his daughter. We love the kids and we get all of them every other weekend with no problems and they love to be around. They call thru the week asking us to come and get them and take them to school in the mornings we got off to a rocky start but he feels like he needs his money back. Does anyone else find stereotyping sooo wrong? Everyone has the right to be who they want to be without being labeled by someone else. I don't think that I really fit into ANY of the groups above....If I HAD to label myself, it would probably be prep, but how does anyone else decide that? You can't decide for somebody what they are, especially since you never know if they are showing you the real them in the first place.

I recently lost 50+ pounds. I currently weigh 180 lbs and I went from a 42 DD to now a 38 DD. I thought that after losing weight my boobs would get smaller, but they haven't. I feel like they are too big and I've had back problems for about 2 yrs. My dr said to lose weight and they would get smaller as well, and that the back pain should get better. but they're still huge! Do you think that they are proportional for my size or should I get a reduction. My bf likes them this size, but I think they look too big.
