I would say both but mostly internal beauty. You might like someone for their external beauty but, once you get to know the person internally you will see if you really like them or not.

I just have a hard time looking at something that hurts my eyes. But, to gain insight into the inner beauty of someone, I need to interact with them for more than a few minutes. Ya know, we all have a social presentation, a style for receproity, and an image we present when we are trying to make an impression on another....especially someone we are attracted to. So in the beginning, I use my concept of how to define my standard of beauty. Then, if what I observe, and hear does not alienate me, I hang around so I can get to know this person.

Both. But internal beauty will win out in the long run.

Both....I think there has to be that intial attraction but after you get to know the person if there is no signs of internal beauty from that person it wouldn't work {for me at least} I want someone w/ a lot of compassion, & someone to care about me & love me the way love should be.

both. like i said before, a person can be beautiful on the outside but if they have a nasty attitude then it makes their external beauty look ugly

people that say they look at inner beauty are most often trying to choose the noble answer......
I can honestly say I would go for someone with supermodel looks before I would go for someone unattractive with a decent personality....
it's sad but true, how many strangers have you walked up to and said "you've got a nice personality" compared to the ones you say are "nice-looking"
they say do not judge a book by its cover and don't judge people on first impressions, however, everyone forms an opinion about someone the instant they meet them, its unavoidable.....
sorry bout the long answer, hope I have made sense
