anyone else feeling the vibe? its like something from the past is completing a cycle today... maybe from a couple years ago... i get a strong sense of fall.

I think when there are Christians who are out there saying that Evolution does not occur are simply banging their heads against the wall. They are completely ignoring evidence. Of course Evolution occurs, of course Evolution leads to the development of new species there is obvious evidence. Of course there are still some things to work out in the Evolutionary theory from a Scientific standpoint but those aren't the things I see Christians talking about.

Why not talk about cosmology? Cosmology has a lot of presuppositions and "faith" based or probability based conclusions. Plus, the Big Bang theory assumes that there was a beginning marker. Also the Big Bang theory evidence is dependent on hypothetical unlimited amount of multiple universes. Scientifically speaking it is impossible for the Earth to land where it is in conjunction with its nearest star (the sun) to land in the perfect orbit and the perfect tilt in order to inhabit life.

I was just reading this article and I wanted to see what others thought of it. Especially this comment.

So are they saying that women aren't allowed so show emotion because that shows lack of self control? WHat happened in the old days where a man was looked down upon for crying?

My daughter's father was deported last week due to a felony he committed in 2002. He has barely been in her life since this, although he says he loves her and would anything for her. Yeah, right? I am ok with the deportation. First of all he was an illegal (although he was adopted by an American family at age 11) he was still not here legally. My current husband has been in her life since age 2 (she is now 7) and we would love for him to adopt her as his own. I know her real father would never give consent for this, although he has not been there for her. I talked to the attorney general's office today and he owes me $32,000 in past due child support, which I will probably never see. Now that he is across the border there is nothing that can be done to enfoce this. Does this make my daughter eligible to be adopted? Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.

What if I just can't believe in it all?

Time and again on this site I've heard Christians say that it's our choice as to whether we go to Heaven or Hell. But to go to Heaven I have to believe that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour. I can't believe this because, try as I might, I can't find an iota of evidence for it. If I just say I accept Jesus without believing it, will I get to Heaven or am I destined to spend in eternity in Hell?
