Not a good idea on the street. What about the drag strip? Don't you have a local strip where you could kick them off together and settle the score?

That would be the way to do it, no use making car payments on a car that you won't be able to drive if your license gets pulled.

good luck, but watch out for that Mustang, we have some fast ones that the guys have out at the Ford plant.

I agree dont race on the street. You didnt say what kind of mustang he has.If he can drive and he has a 03-04 cobra he will beat you.

Well if its a gt and you are a descent driver you will win.
Is it 546 horse at the flywheel or the wheels? What few upgrades gave you over 100 horsepower?Did you supercharge it or are you using nitrous?

Do it on a street class day at the track dude! then no Po-Po can add to the embarrassment of losing to a ford that is pretty much stock by giving you a fat fine and towing your ride. Standard rule of thumb...Don't bring a goat to a horse race, ha ha just jokes, maybe he knows he's not as fast... just playin ya to see what the chargers got??? My buddies & I used to do it all the time. Redlight challenged a Viper GTS once in my 80 f150 w/a punched up 351c just for kicks and, he bit on it right now...once......It was awesome! damn! those cars can haul!Yeah.. We lost....but it was well worth the show!

Good advice by Fordman. I'd like to see a safe race. Unfortunately we see to many deadly ones on the busy roadways of Houston Texas. ~~~ Jill Good Luck !!!

heck yeah you should race. set up a course thats bout .2 miles long (use your odometer) add a couple hundred feet, call it a quarter mile. setup a buddy at the start finish line and one at the end with a video camera. and get that race on youtube.

What kind of Mustang does he have? You can do a whole lot to a mustang so see what he has first.

Surely you think it is safer on a backstreet? Get Ur head out of your --s and go to a drag strip.
