I am writing a research paper but am having trouble creating an outline for it. My topic is discrimination within the workplace. I will be talking about employee and customer discrimination.

Start with a broad spectrum of what you want to say. Write it down in complete but short sentences. Lay these out in the order which you feel you should discuss them and then make these your main outline topics. (I, II, III, etc)

Under each of these you can now add information which would clarify or deepen the subject. (A, B, C, etc) If any of these needs specifications, then you can add even more. (i, ii, iii, etc)

I may also like to add that there is quite a dynamic to consider in discrimination.

Employer to employee
Employee to employee
employee to customer
customer to employee

Hope this gives you a start.
