Yes, that's right the US tax payer has paid for the Israeli Military (Israel gets far more US aid than any other country - about 80 percent of it in fact and 90 percent of that is tanks, f16s, bulldozers etc.).

How does it feel?

In fact, considering that the US have no real military rivals how do you feel about all of your tax dollars being pumped into your own army? Couldn't it be spent more usefully? They don't even give you free health care...

My fiance and I have been putting pocket change (money) into a BIG jar for about a year now. It is FULL and we have started another jar.

We have been wanting to take a vacation for the past two years, and when we started the jar we decided that the money in it would go towards spending money on a trip. Well, we recently booked a 10 day trip to disney world. We will be going in May 2008. The trip was less than 3,000 dollars (it includes a 10 day stay at a disney resort hotel, 8 day park hopper passes + the water park option, and airline tickets both ways for the two of us)

We did not use our 'piggy bank change' to pay for the trip, but we will be using it for our spending money when we go to disney!

We've tried roling it but find that we are constantly emptying the rolled change becuase we think we may have miscounted.

My fiance will not bring it to one of those 'change stars' that they have at the grocery store b/c they take a % of your total

Will the bank take change?

I would have never thought it would happen to me, but Child Protective Services invaded my home a couple of years back and took my daughter for no God given reason. I did a little of my own investigating and I found that they were trying to use my daughter in an adoption scam. I don't know what to do because I have audio tapes, written statements, etc. A lawyer won't even talk to me here in NC. Is there a lawyer that will do this case probono? Is this even grounds to sue? CPS devestated my life and I regained custody of my daughter a year later, which cost me 5 thousand in my entire savings. Now my daughter has to visit with a out of pocket therapist because she still has nightmares when they so viciously took her away that fateful night! Help?

Why not have a designated runner for those who arent very fast? (Not a pinch runner)
Why not designated fielders for the players who cant hit very well? (Not a defensive substitution in the 9th inning)
Why dont they have designated throwers, some OF have bad arms.

am I too old to get a horse at 31? I live on a farm (beef cows)we have a barn & lots of hay, room to ride, and I have time as a (mostly)stay at home mom. we have already considered the time and $ involved, but what are other things to consider, and how do i learn to understand horses, and how to care for them? how do i learn to work with them? I have a strong resentment towards my mom because she was cruel, when I was 14. I made mistakes, was a teen, she gave me a harsh punishment though I sincerely regreted. She said I broke her trust and since I loved her despite my mistakes this let me reslly down and depresed. Though I pleaded for her trust and showed I deserved it she was extremely cruel and it months for her to trust me again. When this happened, our realtionship was destroyed, I've never got over this. Today at 24 I'm gradiated, have a good job, got over that fact but avoid my mom. Now she's a widow, went through hard times and I ended up lending her good money, she should pay me yesterday, upon her word. But she didn't and don't know when she will. I don't need the money, but it was my great chance to throw at her gace she broke my trust and she's not a teen. It was my great chance to make her take her own medicine. But my younger sister begged me not to. All I did was say she doesn't need to pay me. Lost my chance

So last night at about 11 I was woken up by my fiance talking in his sleep. He said "How are you doing ladies?" then started making a bunch of kissy sounds but sat up in bed within moments for a minute or two then laid back down and was cuddled right up next to me for the rest of the night.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this but could it be an indication of some deeper meaning or subconscience thoughts?
I asked him what he remembered dreaming about this morning but he didn't remember anything about girls only a dream about looking for something in the fridge...
I shouldn't worry though....right?
