I've had my Beta fish (Leo) for 4 months now. He lives far enough from the window that the sun never reaches him but he gets natural light daily. I read a couple weeks ago that you're only supposed to change 20% of the water in their tanks at a time and even though i'd always changed most of the water when cleaning i decided to give that a try. After about 2 weeks of doing this the water looked incredibly gross because i wasn't getting all of the mess off the bottom so i just went ahead and changed all the water like i usually do. In the last 6 days or so his face has changed from a purply blue color to almost green. It's nasty looking and he's definitely not swimming around as happily as usual, Also, he's stopped making bubble nests. Could it have been the week of nasty water that made him sick? I also added a piece of bambo to his tank.Can anyone help me figure out what to do to make my little Leo better? I've really enjoyed having him around and hate seeing him look so miserable.thx

I am a freshman in highschool, football/wrestler/baseball...This is all good but I am severely overweight for my height 5'2; 149 lbs. My previous wrestling club wantted my weight where it was. Now, my wrestling coach wants me down to 119 to fill a spot on the team that is empty (private school)

I think he knows I cannot do it right now, possibly for next year. The thing is (note he is also a football coach) I want to keep my frame (big pot belly, lol) for football so I do not have to change my position from Guard/Noseguard/DT to something like HB, WR, or Linebacker. (currently JV for people who think freshman is THAT much easier than JV)

Is there any possible way to work in the offseason to work on my belly for wrestling (crunches, running etc.) and work to an ideal DE or TE, possible HB (even though I am short) weight. Any suggestions for workouts or what to do in my awkward situation are appreciated, I have the diet down.

I use to use a filter, but my fish would get stuck in it. Is there a more convenient way to oxygenate the water without air tubing and pumps? I have a 5 gallon tank with a small goldfish in it.

I am making a fish maze.
It is a rectangle.
The width of the short sides is 11 inches, and for the long side it is 14 inches.
I am having trouble with the height.
I only have a limited supply of glass..so what is a reasonable height for a fish? (the fish live in a tank!) 5.5 in? 4.5 in? 4 in? somewhere around those numbers?

And also should I glue the walls on the outside of the base, or the inside?

I mean, if they somehow aware of such consequences are likely to arise, why not just stay unmarried (without kids of course) instead of wasting loads of money on a wedding which lasted only a painful few years confusing the public . There are other meaningful things to do than this in the world!

Paul's letter was written around the year 58. The Gospels were written well after that. Paul never mentions Jesus having been resurrected in the flesh. He never mentions empty tombs, physical appearances, or the ascension of Jesus into heaven afterward (i.e. when Paul mentions the ascension, he never ties it to appearances in this way, and never distinguishes it from the resurrection event itself). Why wouldn't Paul write about this if it happened?

U.S. Troop deaths are at their lowest levels in 19 months AND civilian and Iraqi police deaths have declined. This is the second consecutive month for significant U.S. troop decline which started taking effect shortly after the surge was completed and accomplished what they needed to...allegedly. Additionally, overall violence is down for the 2nd month in a row as well.

If things keep getting significantly better over the next year, are the Democrats going to have any ground to stand to cling onto? Is this is a serious threat to the Democratic chances to win the presidency?

I gave my cat milk, and she threw it up. When she threw it up out comes a 1.5/ 2 inch white flatish worm. It was moving. Ok so my uncle has cancer and me and my family talked about it a while and everyone in my family believes that doctors DO have a cure for cancer and they are not doing anything about it. Everyone in my family agrees that they are getting rich off everyone fundraising and donating money to find a cure for cancer. I too believe this 100 percent. Its like my father said, they can clone people with all this new technology now adays but they can't cure a sickness? Thats very strange. My family does not donate money to any cancer society now like we used to. If the doctors did say they found a cure they would be loosing all this donated money from people to find a cure. People have been donating money for years and years and where is it all going? How much could it possibly cost? I believe they do have a cure and are just out for all the money being donated. What is your opinion on this?
It makes me mad because loved ones are dieing when they could be living a fuller life
