I am working as a secretary and would like to feel as if I am doing my part, as I feel in my current job, I'm not really needed. However, I don't feel confident in my abilities and do feel guilty that I might be leaving my colleagues in the lurch, if one of them goes on holiday or is sick, then they would have an extra burden on them. I don't know what I can do, but I feel useless and sometimes v. depressed when I am at work most days.

It's gotten to the point where I've missed 15 days of school because the bully is threatening to, "beat the $#!+ out of me" . I don't know what to do or who to turn to do. I have already talked to my parents, the dean, the principal and a counselor, but this girl won't let up. HELP ME!

This is a nasal aspirator thing from Sweden not yet sold by retail in the US. People swear by it for clearing babies and toddlers nasal congestion. You can order online but apparently some pediatricians offices are carrying it. I'd like one right away, any help is appreciated!

The question yesterday was asking people to bash both sides, the Red Sox and Yankees. I made a goofy comment about Jeter and Manny in a locker room purely for laughs and you report that? Grow up. If you can't handle a comment like that, don't read my stuff anymore. What's the deal with overly sensitive people around here?

Son goes to school till 2:30 and it was 2-5 on court order, we changed it to 3-5. Was seeing kids at daycare, there no longer there so he visits at mc donalds now

Signed by both the mom and dad and we have been doing this for a year.

We did not notify the court i know this is not ENFORCEABLE but will it do me any good in court since he has been doing this for a year already? Even though he only comes once or twice a month if the kids are lucky..

I just want to know how it will hold up in court since he has been doing it, and im not denying any visits for him and his kids.

I'm finally getting over my ex...I've started dating this guy and we have so much in common..(struggles during child hood, life,etc;..and how we've both have overcome it and have made life better for ourselves..and even more..) He is the most anylatical, philosophical..caring person that I know and he gets me..he'll cook for me and drive 30 mins to my apartment..regardless of the time..he gives the best foot massage when I'm tired and've been on my feet all day (I'm a model)..i'm sure he knows that I have feelings for him...sometimes when I travel and come back I'll tell him that I missed him but in a very sarcastic way (I'm trying to protect myself, my heart)..he'll respond by giving me the biggest bear hug or a gentle kiss..sometimes he says it back.sometimes he doesn't..we joke around a lot..His mom lives out of the country and she recently came to visit;he wanted me to meet her, but I was in NY doing a show and when i got the message, it was too late..he won't say..he likes me.what

I understand using a speakerphone when you are listening to your bank account, or to hold music etc. But, I think it is very rude to call a place of business and expect that the person on the other end of the phone to deal with the laziness of not picking up the phone. (not blaming people who cannot do it, just the lazy ones).

Does anyone have any recommendations for a nice way to tell them to pick their phones up? I have tried to tell them that I cannot hear them, then they scream (lol). I work in healthcare and would bet that there are HIPPA regulations affecting this anyway.

Took my new Kawasaki Nomad in to dealer for 600-mile required checkup. When I got it back I took a ride to Oklahoma city and back. (300+ miles) Next morning I notice grease all over the back end. Upon inspection, which requires removing the left saddlebag, I find the mechanic failed to tighten the filler cap on the final drive unit. I could turn it with my fingers. Had this popped out and coated the rear wheel with slime, it could have caused "catastrophic traction loss" (spilling my guts on the freeway). Also, I managed to drop one of the saddlebags on the garage floor, therefore, I won't have to worry about that first scratch anymore.
In my opinion, letting work like this outta the shop is inexcusable... what's your take on this?

I had the misfortune of having to get the train & tube (London) into work this morning as I had a training course in the city (I would usually drive to work)

On the train, I was one of the first stops so thankfully I got a seat, tucking myself neatly in by the window on a bank of 3 seats. The 2 seats opposite me filled up as did the 1 on the end of my bank leaving a spare seat in the middle of me and a man.

3 stops in, a lady got on, roughly threw her bag on to the overhead shelf & instead of asking the man to move she threw herself down in the middle of us.

She was tucking her coat down her sides and span around & said to me in a very agressive tone, "can you move over please?" I was so shocked I laughed and said "where to? I am at the edge of the seat" (I was pressed up against the window by now)

As I could not move, she decided to open her metro paper full stretch and read it with her fist in my face for the rest of the journey!

Why are some people so bloody rude?
