In order to live there has to be evil in our surroundings it's a cycle of living so yeah you need to be accustomed to the evil people around you

Clever pun.
When gangs take to the streets in large numbers good pople tend to stay at home making the streets turning neighbourhood into places for hoods.
"Broken windows" is often used as a term to describe this type of problem. When things look bad we tend to give up. Thus a single broken window is all that sometimes is needed to make people loose pride in their neighbourhood.
If the baddies are in groups get your own group together.
Take to the streets in large groups for safety and have fun where you can. This can encourage others to do the same. Likewise pick up a little trash and make one corner a little nicer. Make a garden in an alley. Do more good than harm and the world becomes a better place.

We will never be accustomed to Evil. Good will never be able to fathom evil. You can't live your life scared to the point that your fear is taking over. It is always good to be cautious, but yes, you should just live your life.

truly a person can be considered "evil" if they do horrible things to other people without feeling a shred of guilt they know what their doing is wrong but they go ahead and do it any way because they enjoy the sight of some Else's pain, this person cannot be considered human. the rest of us have to live around these cretins as best we can.thank goodness a majority of people are not like this.

I guess it depends on if you are dyslexic. They are both made of the same letters so a person could accidentally spell one and mean the other.
