I'm a photographer and I'd like to sell my art. I have two questions: 1. are there laws/regulations for setting up a box/display with prints, in the street in Montreal? Do i have to have a permit of some sort?
2. where are the best places to set up that kind of thing? (which streets, corners, neighborhoods)

I noticed at the top of the V&V section, where it says Top Contributers, that he changed his name (made me chuckle) so I clicked on his profile and he hasn't been around for a month. What the heck? I disagreed with him on a few things, but he was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful regular here (there are very close seconds so please don't get offended, Michael H et. al.) and it would be a shame if he were gone for good. I certainly hope the trolls didn't run him off. For every troll there's still five good people just looking for some info on a healthier, more compassionate diet.

But she was not afraid, she knew just what to say, what to tell her classmates of why he wasn't there today But still her mother worried, for her to face this day alone.


But the little girl went to school eager to tell them all. Of a dad whos never there a dad who never calls.


One by one the teacher called a student from the class. To introduce their daddy, as seconds slowly passed. At last the teacher called her name, every child turned to stare. Each of them was searching, for a man who wasn't there...


"Where's her daddy" she heard a boy call out."She probably doesn't have one," another student dared to shout. And from somewhere near the back, she heard another father say, "Looks like another dad, too busy to waste his day." ...


The words did not offend her, as she smiled up at her Mum. And looked back at her teacher, who told her to go on. slowly she began to speak and from the mouth of a child, came words incredibly unique ..


"My Daddy couldn't be here, because he lives so far away.But I know he wishes he could be, since this is such a special day And though you cannot meet him, I wanted you to know. All about my daddy and how much he loves me so,He loved to tell me stories...


surprised me with pink roses , and taught me to fly kite.We used to share fudge sundaes, and ice cream in a cone.And though you cannot see him. I'm not standing here alone. Cause my daddy's always with me,


I know because he told me, he'll forever be in my heart" With that, her little hand reached up, and lay across her chest. Feeling her own heartbeat, beneath her favorite dress And from somewhere in the crowd of dads, her mother stood in tears..


watching her daughter, who was wise beyond her years. And when she dropped her hand back down, staring sraight into the croud She finished with a voice so soft, but its message clear and loud. "I love my daddy very much, he's my shining star..


And if he could, he'd be here, but heaven's just too far. You see he was a fireman and died just this past year When airplanes hit the towers and taught us all how to fearBut sometimes when I close my eyes, it's like he never went away."...


And then she closed her eyes, and saw him there that day.And to her mother's amazement, she witnessed with surpriseA room full of daddies and children, all starting to close their eyes. Who knows what they saw before them...

befor nasalcavity we have 2 ways the air come through it from out said . my problem is in the left side i feel resistance . its hard to inhal & another way is clossed i can not sleep or breathing through my mouth . what is the treat for that .

I've got a bowl of angel food cake mix and one 8.5-inch loaf pan. The recipe says I should put 1/3 of the mix into that size pan. However, I'm quite bad at estimating thirds in cases like this, when stuff is in a single large bowl.

I don't want to end up with three uneven cakes. Any tips for measuring out what one-third of the batter would be?

1. What are the total contributions allowed per year for each - IRA, Roth IRA and 401k? assuming the person is in his early 30's.

2. Let's say this individual wants to retire in his mid-50's, which funds can be withdrawn out of the 3, without any penalties?

3. Finally, can this person also get his Social Security income when he reaches in his 60's, while still living on his IRA, Roth IRA and 401K savings? can all 4 be an income source for this individual?

Ok I seriously need some advice on what to do. I was at a bar and was LEGALY parallel parked. When I got home, I didn’t notice anything until THE NEXT MORNING, I had a nice scrape across the right (driver side) back corner of my car, and this tiny piece of metal off my car was bent from the back forward. I didn’t have anything to drink so I know I didn’t back into anything or anyone. Someone had to have hit me from behind.

Two nights later I go back to the bar and one of the bartenders, this girl asks me if I saw anyone hit a car. She said, “You were here all night the other night did you happen to see anyone hit a car?” I replied “That was my car that was hit someone came from behind me and scraped the side, but I don’t know who it was.” This girl told me someone HIT HER CAR and that she had red paint on her car, MY CAR IS RED, she also told me, SHE WAS PARALLEL PARKED and that her car was GREEN, I found GREEN PAINT CHIPS ON MY CAR. She told me what kind of car she drove and I went around the block and found it. HER CAR was scraped on the PASANGER SITE DOOR, the scrape going from the front to the back.

I know she hit my car, there is no way anyone could have hit her passenger side if she was parallel parked, not unless they were driving on the sidewalk. Her scrape shows she pulled out and scraped the back corner of my car, because I had green paint chips on my car.

Why would she say someone hit her? What should I do, the damage to my car isn’t bad and hers is way worse I think she is saying someone hit her to avoid being sued. Why would she stop me at the bar, just to ask if I saw an accident do you think she was trying to find out if I knew who had hit my car? Or find out if anyone knew it was her.

I really don’t want a lawsuit and the damage to my car is minor I just need to get it repainted. Should I say anything to her or just let it go?

Tonight is my 34th weding anniversary and every year he sits there like a big kid waiting for his presents, and never gets me anything. He doesen't even bother opening his cards. Whatever the occasion, I've never had anything from him. Not even when the kids were born. Not even a daisy from the garden! He's had everything you can think of and all he says to me is I'll get you something tomorrow, but he never does. My kids have grown up sick of his uncaring attitude and non interest in everything. Well right now he's sitting downstairs and I've bought him nothing for the first time, he's expecting a gift which is not coming. But Im getting scared, I can't take drinks off him anymore, I've caught him crushing up tablets in my tea cup a few times, and found open condoms in his wallet. I've confronted him, but he denies it. He's worked permament nights in a hotel for 8 years. I've tried talking to him, but he's to bad tempered and angry. I have nowhere to go. What should I do?

My girlfriend and I hove both experienced this unexpected phenomena on several occasions both together and alone in bed.Also the feeling of something jump on the bottom of the bed and slowly work it way up to our faces ; sometimes I feel blowing on my face very gently and often my face is stroked ,It never hurts or trys to scare me although sometimes it is a little alarming.It can feel as its under the quilt between your legs but again never aggressivley and I never feel it go only arrive.It sounds terrible but its realy not that scary tome now but Im curious to find out what it could be

Now that I have gotten rid of him,why am I sooo sad. He started punching walls when he got angryand yelling.?
met a man online in June.He and I started dating on June 20th. We have been seeing each other almost everyday/weekend since.The relationship started to become very uncomfortable.He would make rude comments about me,my home,my up bringing.I told him that I didnt want to be in a relationship anymore.He said"Why,I like you.We can work this out.Lets talk about this.I want you to be my girlfriend." I felt bad for hurting his feelings so we stayed together.I went through a divorce from an abusive man last year and I told this guy about it. When we went skydiving two weeks ago he made fun of the abuse!! He said"All Brian had to do was slap you around to get you to marry him." When we got back home I told him to never call me again.No Emails.Nothing. He called and Emailed and said "Oh,I'm sorry.I only want you to be my girlfriend.I'm so alone!Why wont you be with me?No one wants to be with me!" We got back together.How do I make him go away?Should I just ignore him from now on.I dont know?

I saw it in the TV movie nearly 27 years ago, and have recently read there was indeed such a man, but I wonder what became of him and why nothing else has been written about it:

He was the man who for some reason was working or mysteriously appeared at the clothing factory that caught fire in New York in 1911. In the fire 146 people_I believe all women_died. He was supposed to be evil and would tell them to jump out the windows. He also jumped but was never found. Only his clothes was left behind on the ground.
