I'm like the reformed Scrooge at the end of "A Christmas Carol" -- I endeavor to keep Christmas in my heart year-round.

When the holidays come around, I do not engage in all that commercialism and shopping orgies, buying useless crap for everyone I know. I buy numerous simple gifts that I think the recipient will truly enjoy, and I buy them online. And if I do happen to go out to the stores, I don't get stressed -- I remain calm, and just enjoy the decorations. Christmas is all about joy and glad tidings, but a lot of people seem to think it's all about adrenaline rushes and sore feet.
