I have had a few experiences like that too. Almost Identical. Like a cat walking up you and sitting on your pillow, then pulling on your hair. I don't have a cat.
Mine have been different only cuz of what happened directly afterwards. One was with the light on in the room, as i watched a shadow crossed the doorway, completely blocking it. The other time I had a demon in my shower the next day, or an image of a dog in my house, people hung behind the door(i was 4 for that one)or a voice either saying my name or crying for hours,I was wide awake for them all. My definition is Satanic attack. Only explanation that I have been able to come up with. I haven't had this for a few years now. Praise the Lord, but I do pray for protection every day, knowing I am more suseptable to it than others.

Some spiritualists might say you're being "hag-ridden". I agree it can be very disconcerting! As long as it purposely is being nice to you, I wouldn't worry too much! I like to think the spirits must be attracted to you & just want to spend some time with you. My husband & I live in the oldest house in our small town, the first house built here. Maybe I feel this too sometimes, someone moving the bed when I can clearly see my husband is asleep! Since they seem benevolent, I take some comfort from it. :)

Could be a spirit. They usually go away if you use incense or scatter sea salt in the area. Careful though, it could fight back. As a Christian, I would just shoo it away rather strongly in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. There's a prayer at http://brethrenofyeshua.blogspot.com for this kind of problems. Pronounce the words and letters silently before sleeping.

Read Carl Sagan's book "The Demon Haunted World". It explains the phenomenon very well.

could be ghosts or maybe demons. do you feel that you have opened yourself up to demons? i myself am not sure i beleive in either. could be because im afraid to believe in them or could be that i dont want to give them power by believing. either way im uncomfortable with the idea. and im sure some people will tell me to run to God, but i am still just a human subject to human thoughts and feelings.
