I live on the west coast usa, and november 4th we change our clocks back an hour and in the Spring every year we change them forward another hour.
Right now Arizona and California are on the same time zone. What is the reasoning behind daylight savings time??
It gets dark early enough!!!
It's already dark in the early am, so what does it matter?

Wouldn't it be more ecconomical to save enegy if we didn't have Day Light Savings Time???

A friend wants me to help her repot her Purple Wandering Jew. It's too large, and she wants to cut the size down into a smaller pot, and then replant the rest. I have looked up how to reroot the wandering jew, but I wanted to double check on the best way to cut down it's size to fit into a smaller vase. I usually wouldn't worry, as I'm quite good with plants, but I found out there is a personal story behind the plant, and I REALLY want to make sure I keep it alive. Thanks for your help!

I was watching a program the other day about the ark of the covenant. did you know that there were two other boxes inside the ark? there was the ark, a box made of wood inside of it, then another box made of gold placed inside of the wooden box. Altogether there were three boxes. this is another way to explain the Trinity. Any thoughts?

k this is my fifth but this is my obsesion to ask about things about my crush. Hi, I want to attend an upcoming dog show so i went to akc.org to find out when theres dog shows in my area
My question is do these shows allow an audience or is this just for breeders? Do you have to pay to go to the show? (how much?)
Sorry if my questions are dumb but I dont really know much about dog shows.

We moved to a different state and to this awful town. I hate it here. It has been almost 2 years. I have tried to make it work. How do I convince my husband to try harder to find a job in our home state and town? I know it is cheaper to live where we are living now, but there are so many reasons (mainly the type of people) which is why I want to move. He thinks he won't be able to find as good of a job at home, but he isn't even trying. I am miserable here and I am having a hard time making friends. The people here and their families have been here for generations and they are cliquey and don't need any new friends.

Okay, I am 17 my friend Delilah(17 too.) likes my little 14 yr old bro,Kenny who is a little freshman in highschool. She seems to be distract Kenny a lot. I mean isn't he too young. When she comes to my house she seems to be wearing the sluttiest thing(I know that's rude but it's true!) My lil bro is not those type of guys he is a short, skinny, long skater hair and green eyes. Yeah he probably is cute but he is my little brother and i love him. And Deliah is those 'wild girls'(Ones that are crazy,love to party, and think wrong)I think she is a little too old and wild for Kenny. I mean Delilah likes him a lot but she is way too much for him and I think he doesn't likes older girls nor he is ready to date.So you can understand, Delilah is rated R and Kenny is rated G. How do I tell Delilah to not give Kenny ideas or what else should I do!?!

Why are there so many stupid people who assume so much about home schooling without any real knowledge of the subject? Why do people assume that it's only possible to develop social skills in a government funded institution where when, how, and with whom you socialize is decided for you? or that homeschoolers can't get accepted to universities, or that homeschoolers can't participate in sports, clubs, band, art, music, etc? Or that it's impossible for an ordinary person to follow a simple curriculum guide, or use the public library, or educational programs and websites or other sources int eh community to educate their children? It's ridiculous!

so i have a 5 gallon tank with a filter and no heater, up until now i didnt think i needed one. i used to have tetras and a betta in it...like an idiot my friend who was watching my aquarium while i was out of town changed all the water and im pretty sure she put it them, in too soon and the water may have been too cold/hot, as you guessed they died. so now im trying to restart my tank up and my water is currently 72 degrees far. im not sure what the ideal temps are for freshawater fish and was hoping for help. i think its still too cold but just wondering.
