A few years ago I listened to a book on CD from the library that was really weird in an interesting way. I thought the name was Orchid, but I haven't been able to find it again. It was a science fiction book about a world where everyone had PSI linked to colors. The main character was a woman whose PSI color was white, and her PSI skills enhanced everyone else's skills. She worked as some kind of counselor or something, selling her PSI talents. The library has no record of it anymore. Amazon didn't come up with anything that seems like a match. Any other suggestions? Thank you!

I've heard mixed opinions. I'm really not in this position myself but I was thinking of talking to my boyfriend about moving in together we're not getting engaged anytime soon though but I'm just not sure if it would be a bad idea... or a good idea so we would get to know each other better...

It still bothers me that she rejected me all those years ago in high school.

We are both now in our middle 30's, and we haven't even talked since high school. Back then I was kind of a too serious type, and I had growing up issues, and I was just confused about life.

Now I am a completely different person. I'm happy, upbeat, well-adjusted, and issue free. I have a great home, a great job, and a great family.

Why does that even bother me still after all these years?

I mean, worse than ambulance chasers.

I mean, worse than tow truck drivers who write down license numbers in hotel parking lots where there are a lot of bars then go and ask to tow vehicles that aren't registered.

I mean just plain scumbags and lowlifes.

People act like being a christain is all about going to heaven. but i dont think it is. i think that having a personal relationship with Jesus right now on earth is the desired effect God wanted to have. i think life would suck if i didnt have Jesus in it. heck, it still sux with Him in it. thats why im not so concerned with going to heaven or not, this life in the here and now is all i can handle right now thank u very much. wat do u think? and y?

they like my first piggy but they wont let me get a friend for him. i know hes lonely because he makes this one kind of squeek when he is lonly. any ideas how to convince them. i have already cleaned my room and i cant talk about it till nov 4th so i need to know how to convince them. i think there desision to keep me silent was a bad one because it gives me time to plot out exactly what i will do. anyway any help will be appreciated. thanks

Ok, so I bought an item off ebay and pay pal paid it within five minutes of the close. The seller took two days to tell me that he was out of town until Tuesday. I got an e-mail from pay-pal saying that a label failed to print (not quite sure what that means) and it wasn't going to shipped. This was Wednesday. So, I e-mailed him asking him what was going on the same day. I have yet to recieve a response, but the item arrived via UPS on Friday.

Is this considered prompt shipping? Should I leave neutral feedback or even negative since he failed to respond to me?

I'm very new to this whole ebay thing, so any and all advice is much appreciated.

So...lately i havent had a b/f...this is a first b/c usually its not hard at all to get one(not to sound concieted) But this year thats changed. wat is happening is the only guys that like me are the 1s i cant have!! Like they are 2 old. im 15 and ive had two guys so far like fall in love with me that are 19. 1 of them i dated...and it didnt work out for various reasons & i got my heart broke...not too menchion my mom found out & i got in a ton of trouble! Now theres this guys and hes gonna be 19 the 26th of this month. And he is the sweetet guy, not intersted in sex...and let me tell you im not easy.im very closed with guys and i know what not to belive, ive learded though expieriance..guys will tell you serously anything you wanna hear! but this guy id deffiantely different! he respects every part of me from my age, my parents, my beliefs in the situation. and i really would love to give him a chance but i just know i cant. my mom, & id never see him. So let me get this straight, a bunch of sheep herders somehow managed to create a story with allusions and allegories from every imaginable religion and deity(including ones from across the ocean), and creating a personification of the zodiac, all the while (supposedly) fulfilling prophesies from the Old Testament?

Then, they managed to make this story so believable that the character they created was mentioned by historians of that time? Then, they convinced people to follow this melting-pot story even in the face of death?
And no one noticed that it was stolen from paganism until somewhat recently?(200 years ago i think)

Don't you think that when the Romans were persecuting Christians they would've said "wait a sec, this Jesus guy is the same thing as (insert diety here)"
