People act like being a christain is all about going to heaven. but i dont think it is. i think that having a personal relationship with Jesus right now on earth is the desired effect God wanted to have. i think life would suck if i didnt have Jesus in it. heck, it still sux with Him in it. thats why im not so concerned with going to heaven or not, this life in the here and now is all i can handle right now thank u very much. wat do u think? and y?

to Linda M:u must b joking.so u think that ur life is perfect,ok so u have never had any problems while being a christian, and u never will just cuz Go is in ur life, right?im sry,but that is a lie. i hate it when ppl make it out 2 b that having a personal relationship with christ is heaven on earth. when its not. duh, this is the sin drenched WORLD. i guess u live in ur private corner of heaven that some how found itself in this hellbound world, cuz thats the only possible answer 2 that. God is a whole struggle in itself, christians have 2 face things that other ppl dont. im deffently not saying non christains have it easy, 2 live with out Gods presence would b and is hell. but here on earth, my life sux. wether or not God does bless me, my life will always suck here. and if u were honest, ud say the same bout urs. and that "ye of little faith" u can stick that where the sun dont shine. cuz iv seen wat God can do and i love Him 4 how Hes healed me. thank u very much

Your life most likely isn't what you want it to be probably because you aren't really trusting in The Lord God to give you peace and happiness in your life!! Therefore, if you don't trust and have faith in Him for these things, then why should He make your life any better?? You need to do for Him in order to receive blessings from Him!! You need to ask yourself....What have you done for God ?? Think about it?? I am not trying to offend you, but enlighten you for I believe that you really don't know that "faith without works is dead!!"
Another thing is....you need to stay constant in prayer for yourself, your friends, your family....for anything that is on your mind...and believe that God hears you and cast your burdens upon Him and believe with all your heart that He is with you, and that He will help you no matter what!! Sounds like you are "Ye of little faith!!" How can God help you if you don't have faith in Him?
I have complete faith & trust in the Lord for EVERYTHING and I couldn't be any happier!! ( :

The personal relationship IS important -- and eternity spent in heaven with Jesus is the icing on the cake!
Have you asked Him to be your Lord and Saviour? If so, then you will understand things more and more as you read your Bible and ASK the Lord to help you grow and understand more about Him, life, priorities, etc.

Well it could be because God said so. I mean like it says, "God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Perhaps on the judgement day you'll appreciate this fact more.

Because believing once saved always saved then takes away the need to live and act like a christian.

While it takes faith to get to Heaven our main concern after becomming a Christian should be trying take others to Heaven with us.(being a soul winner!!!)
