Something that has punk written all over it, something that captures the very essence of punk. Something that set a trend. A standard. Something that nobody that enjoys punk rock should be without. Is there such an album? If so, please say.

It doesn't have to win a grammy like most over-rated bands to be good.

80's only please. Punk rock and all it's sub-genres are acceptable.

Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against anyones personal choice. I do have a friend who is homosexual and I respect his choice. If one of my children were to tell me that they were gay, or bi. I wont say that I wouldnt be a little disapointed but, Ild except it. however, do you think that its right to promote this in our schools? they wont let religion in our childrens schools but they are premoting this. Whats wrong here? what are your feelings on this? My husband told me this, he heard it on the radio, and says that he refuses to let our daughters take that class when they get to that age. (we have a long time to worry about that i guess)

.... by breeders choosing the desired traits that they want in a dog. isnt that proof of evolution right infont of you?!

why do christians automatically accept some some science, but not the science that contradicts the bible. serious science doesnt get published without evidence. creationists like to point out that that evolution is just a theory, but it can be observed in a million different ways plain and simple.
they see electricity turn on a light bulb and accept that it exists so why cant they see evolution all around them and accept that exists too?

I would really like to get a beagle, and i love to hunt all game. Is it possible to train a beagle to hunt: rabbits,Pheasants, and ducks? I know that they dont do well with cold water, but i have a friend who we normally use, that can handle bad weather. But is it possible to train a beagle to hunt all those. I have lots of patciance and will try anything. Thanks

A couple were sentenced Friday for their roles in a scheme in which state Department of Motor Vehicles workers in Oakland accepted bribes for providing bogus identification documents to illegal immigrants.

Jose Ramirez, 25, of San Leandro was sentenced to 18 months in prison, and his wife, Raylynn Brooks, 29, received five years of probation during a hearing before U.S. District Judge D. Lowell Jensen in Oakland.

The two worked with DMV staffers at the Claremont Avenue office in Oakland in 2005 but were not employees there. Each pleaded guilty to one count of conspiring to commit honest services mail fraud.

Ramirez recruited clients willing to pay $1,000 to $1,500 to obtain a fraudulent California driver's license, and Brooks obtained bogus receipts for clients from then-DMV worker Marla Robinson, authorities said.

The couple bribed Robinson to process the licenses, authorities said. Robinson pleaded guilty in December to conspiracy to commit mail fraud and was sentenced to a year and a day in prison.

Brooks accepted responsibility for her role in the scam so she could focus on caring for her two young children, said her attorney, Assistant Federal Public Defender Jerome Matthews.

"She desires to put this unfortunate episode behind her and devote her energies to becoming and remaining a responsible parent," Matthews wrote in court papers.

Four other DMV workers in the Oakland office were convicted in the scheme. Frances Aliganga received a 38-month sentence, and Leneka Pendergrass was sentenced to 27 months. Brachelle Fifer was sentenced to six months of home detention, and Stephanie Davis received a sentence of seven months in prison and seven months of home detention.

The charges were the result of a 20-month investigation in which agents followed employees, dug through one suspect's trash and spied on the Claremont Avenue office.

There, undercover FBI agents acting as clients were steered by brokers to specific windows where a bribed DMV worker was waiting to process them, authorities said.

There is a melody in Pet Shop Boys song "Its a sin" that sounds alot like a melody in "Wild World" by Cat Stevens. I have noticed that a few other songs have similiar melodies and I'm just wondering if anyone else out there can hear what I hear in music. I guess you have to be musically inclined to catch the similarities. I realize that music can be original to a point and then there is no way to avoid copying other songs in melody. It just seems to be more obvious to me sometimes when most everyone I know doesn't hear it.
