What if what you think is your "past lives" is really spirits who lived those lives & are trying to communicate through you ...through their past experiences and feelings and fears etc. Do you think this is possible?

J.S. I didn't mean I believe in reincarnation. I meant..it might be the spirits of other people who have died drawing us to their past & putting their thoughts & feelings into us...making us think it's OUR past life. (Do you still like my brain??)lol

I can tell you do a lot of thinking. I like the way your brain works, your questions always make me think in a different way. So we may be the sum of all our past experiences, hopes, loves, and fears. I think that is very much like the Hindu religions that think you keeping coming back until you reach a high level then go to a different plain of life. I think your right.

I am sure we reincarnate on some level, but that there is much more to understand about it. Our life experiences, intelligence, integrity etc. are all saved, however they may be given to someone else.

Sometimes we may feel we are experiencing or remembering something that has already happened... but most likely, this is our dreams patterns tuning to parrellel lives within our immediate soul family. The oversoul (parent-soul) always produces 12 brother and/or sisters souls often living at the same time but in different regions around the planet... although I don't know why there is always 12 specifically.

It is common occult knowledge that there are three deaths (physical death, withering away of the astral body, and finally the potential for spiritual growth to be cut off). Unless you have achieved Enlightenment (or born-again, non-duality whatever you want to call it) you will be counted among the living-dead. The only thing you can really do in the immediate afterlife is hang out with your new age friends until your soul family produces someone capable of enlightenment, at which point you will cease to exist.

OK, I've never thought of it exactly that way, no.
I have thought that maybe people are tapping into what Jung called the collective unconscious and what Sheldrake calls the Morphogenic field which would allow us to tap into the knowledge and experience of any human being that is living or has ever lived. So, in a way their recorded experiences, feelings, fears, etc. you could still experience but it's not required that anyone survive death as a conscious spirit. (not to say that this might not be possible as well).

i actually am obsessed on particular sessions in time, like Victorian England, that era. the only way reincarnation is clever for me is to think of of a toddler loss of life youthful. If our soul desires this "adventure" on earth, perhaps it does make sense for them to return. there is rather no info of reincarnation besides the certainty that many have pronounced targets wherein they say they knew they relived a prior life. i attempted a regression and it did no longer something for me. each and every now and then i think of that's basically form of an egotistical theory. each and every now and then i'm no longer so particular. I won't be attentive to till i'm ineffective. i'll assert i be attentive to a minimum of one man or woman and sense a wierd intimacy with them as though we've commonplace one yet another plenty longer than some years. desire this facilitates.

I've never thought about it that way but I think there could be something to it. The phrase "we have to remember the past so that we can learn from the mistakes instead of doing them again" and other phrases like it are common. The spirits could connect to us because we have something important to learn from them, the thought that it is our own past lives we see could come from the familiarity we feel with the situation that we are supposed to learn from. It would be as learning from the older generations in your family, e.g. grandparents, but on a spiritual level.

when you die, your body dies but your soul is immortal. if the soul isn't going to heaven (nirvana) or hell it will be reborned into a different form of life say into a cow or into a human being once more. it's not anything like the spirits from your past lives are trying to communicate with you. this is just some religious/spirituality beliefs that i've read about. it also said that when someone dies, their personality and ambitions
remain and they will carry these with them into the next life. and of course people don't remember it.

i do believe that some past life memories are brought about by dreams that were implanted there by spirits... this has the same rhythm as "This is the house that Jack Built"........ however, i think most past life memories are exactly what they are and then implanted thoughts are exactly that. Sometimes they cross over but more often than not they do not.

I think one can say anything is possible, but what's more important is to ask yourself if it's plausible. In this case, I don't think your hypothesis is very plausible, but then it's no less plausible than the whole idea of reincarnation.

if we reincarnated, then there would be no reason for ghosts. Everything would become something or someone else. Naw I dont think its possible.
