Why get a prius? The area around the mine where the nickle is got is a dead zone, plus it gets shipped to three different countries before comming to the US. SO if this so called man made global warming was real, then getting a prius is doing more damage than just getting lets say a hummer or a big suv.

He is still in training and I'm not sure I will be able to live with him. We will have a newborn. So far I'm going to live with my parents in law back home but really want to make it happen where we could live together as a family. I have many concerns and honestly the more I think about things the more nervous I get. I have asked MANY questions about this topic so I apologize to all the people who frequent this forum and have heard many questions before. I also have read material on many different web sites focused on military issues and hear a lot about the military from my dad (a former Marine), one grandpa(a former draftee and Vietnam Veteran), and other grandpa(a former anti military draft dodger, "hippie", peace activist, etc lol lol). They fill me with stories that to be honest make me more nervous. A lot of their information is not relevant to the military today yet it churns around in my head.

He is 14 months old and I just wanted to send a picture or take him somewhere safe to have someone professional tell me yes or no. Please help.

Maybe I should change my name from "Catholic Crusader" to "Automatic Thumbs-Down".

It is fascinating to see: I post an answer, and BLAMM !!! i get thumbs down. Sometimes I get thumns down and I'm the only person who posted an answer. That's a neat trick.

Sometimes, I will post the same exact answer as other people, and they get thumbs-up but I get thumbs-down - for the same answer. That one is hard to figure out.

Sometimes it happen so lightning fast that it catches me by surprise.

Well, I do get nice emails from people who say they like my answers, so I guess its not all bad.

Does anyone else experience this?

Basically ive been waiting like 4 weeks for a waiver for simple possession of marijuana that happened 8 years ago to join the army. Well ive been planning to goto a college football game for like 2 weeks and have saved all my money just to be able to do so, and i really only have enough to get me there and back + food, well magically now the waiver has come through and i have to drive like 30 minutes to get to my recruiter the day i get back...well i doubt ill have the gas to get there and back and when asked if I could just be picked up he said "your not 16 anymore, when we tell you when and where, you have to be there" i mean what the heck do they do for guys that dont even have cars? I told him i'd try to save some gas which i dont think i can. I havent got a job yet because everyday my recruiter would call and say "I think its just gonna be one more day" and so on....this pisses me off, my recruiting station has the lowest numbers in the state also.

The desperate contestants on a TV survival show are very hungry. The only food they can see is some fruit hanging on a branch high in a tree. Fortunately, they have a spring they can use to launch a rock. The spring constant is 1400 N/m, and they can compress the spring a maximum of 10.0 cm. All the rocks on the island seem to have a mass of 330 g.

So what type of person are you? are you the one who always arrives early, on time, or late for something?

I was in a car accident that was not my fault. I was hit from behind on the highway and the person who hit me admitted fault 100%. I have submitted a claim through this persons insurance company.

My car was less than 3 months old. I've come to terms with diminished value and that it will never be the way it was pre-accident, I'll never be able to sell it a fair value as it was in an accident, etc. and I'll just have tp deal with it. (As much as it angers and saddens me!!!)

The insurance adjuster came out today and gave me an estimate which I'm pretty sure is unfair. I'm still need to take it to a few body shops to get theirs estimates of what it will cost to fix it, but I want to be proactive.....

What happens when the three body shops I plan on going to estimate that its going to cost more than what the insurance adjuster wrote me the check for? What are the next steps to appealling this? Is this usually what happens? Write for an unfair amount?
