An Apostle is one who is taught directly by someone else. So Apostle's are people. Jesus had 12 Apostles.
Gospel is a teaching, laws, or rules. The 4 books of the Bible that contain Jesus' teachings while on earth are known as Gospels.

The gospel means "good news" and is the first 4 books of the NT. An apostle usually refers to the early members of the Church who preached abroad or can refer to a Christian now.

It is like comparing apples to oranges. Saint Paul is a self proclaimed "Apostle" He never listened to any of Jesus' "parables". Saint Paul doesn't quote any parable. He never sat at "Jesus' feet". The only way Jesus knew how to talk to the Jews was in parables so they won't understand him and go to HELL!... Saint Paul changed all that, but he spoke only to the "Gentiles" his own version of Christinity that includes a hatred toward Jews, homosexuals and lesbians and "no help to the young widows!" especially the ones that he must have left behind in his past murderous life persecuting the Church of Jesus Christ!... Jesus spent over 3 years teaching his apostles. Saint Paul never heard him speak, yet he knew how to take over the Gospel preaching business from the Apostles. He even assigned Saint Pete to be the Apostle to the Jews, when Jesus assigned every apostle to go all over the world and preach the Gospel! oh well there are many many more differences...

The "Gospel" is the message about Jesus, who he was and what he said and did to bring our salvation. It is also used to refer to the first four books of the New Testament which records the life and sayings of Jesus.
An "Apostle" was a person who went around teaching and preaching the gospel about Jesus. They were also the leaders of the early church.
