Ok so i just got my ps3,So i started to play online a little bit.But i have a problem,I dont wanna keep unplugging the enthernet cord that goes in my computer(the one that connects to the modem).Because i want to be able to play online all the time,and go on the internet all the time with out unplugging the cord.Got any ideas?

Last night some guys kicked in my door and tried to rob me with knifes. It turned out I used a pair of scissors to keep them away from me and eventually they left and the police caught them a few blocks away. I have some pistol models in mind but would perfer to hear from experienced gun handlers, thanks.

Last night I got lost after leaving Ventura, and I stopped at a 7-11 to ask if I should get on the 134 from the 101 in Glendale to get to the 57 south to get to I-10. Well, the guy looked at me, and my cynical eye could tell that he didn't understand a word I said. Dangit. He looked Hispanic, and I thought, well, my wife can ask him for directions in Spanish, since her Spanish is much better than mine. I looked at his name tag and it had a non-hispanic name on it. I said "Where you from boy?"He said " Nepal". I told him I was born in Texas, and lived in Arizona, and he told me of the mountains and life in Nepal. I thought it odd that my wife had to pull me out of the gas station. I could have talked to that man all night. What joy! He came from one side of this planet and took a crummy job in a convenience store while going to college, and I was just lost. I got his phone number and e-mail. He is now my friend. The question is being an atheist, should I thank heaven for 7-11?

I have a Vivitar portable flash unit, a 2800 I think. I have fresh batteries in it, and it's turned on but it doesn't act like it is at all. I attached to the hotshoe of the flash a peanut slave-like thing that intercepts a flash and powers the flash it's attached to. The problem is, nothing happens at all. At this point it's so frustrating, since I invested so much into these flash devices and nothing works. It's such a pain it doesn't seem like the extra bonus from flash was ever worth switching over to from continuous.

i just got it today and it doesnt seem worth it. i got rsistance and the ps3 controller sucks for fps i miss halo 3 but my 360 is being repaired. i see no reason to keep it since there are few exclusives like ratchet and clank sounds cool i never liked the unreal series and haze is a fps and the controller is so uncomfortable to play them. im thinking i will return it and maybe(its less likley since this experience) buy a ps3 when it has a dual shock 3 and mgs 4 comes. maybe someone can convince other wise or give me more reason to return it.

I think this has been asked before, but...

The metric of space-time is expanding, right? So, shouldn't time be expanding along with space? If time were to expand, would we notice at all, or would it take us longer think thoughts and to perceive everything, perfectly balancing out the effect from our perspective so that we didn't notice?

the Boston Red Sox do not make it to the World Series? Can you imagine the scrambling they would need to do to find information on teams other than the Yankees or Sox? What if the Pats do not make it to the Super Bowl? Would they even bother covering these two events? Considering ESPN's bases everything around those 3 teams....I personally believe the World Series and Super Bowl would be relegated to a small blurb on the bottom of the front page if either of those teams failed to make it.
