It's obvious that you are among the majority of people that are intelligent enough not to be taken in by this kind of scam. We are doing what we can to catch these con artists. If you all would like to help, just send me the money instead, I will use it to ferret out the bad guys and see that justice is served!

When you get an Email like that it's spam you need to report it as spam and delete it. It's obviously a scam of some sort. You shouldn't even open Emails like that. They might be full of spyware or viruses.

I would just delete it. That is an old scam, it has been around for years. It used to be done via "paper mail" in the pre-Internet days.

I don't buy it. I've had many of these sent to me including ones from other countries. I got one for like, 1 million pounds and I was thinking, "what am I going to do with 1 million pounds?"

I have gotten similar emails to that. That is known as the Nigerian 419 Scam. They want you to send money to cover the charges or releasing the alleged funds but that's how they get YOUR money and you won't ever see it again. Don't ever respond to those emails. Just delete them.

I wouldn't send money if I were you. Its a big scam, and it came out on some news program (can't remember if it was Dateline, or Nightly News or something).
